Porcelain Veneers can be the solution to esthetic and structural problems in your smile. They can be used to close spaces or gaps, replace worn enamel, repair chipped or broken teeth, reshape crooked or misaligned teeth or cover permanently stained or discolored teeth. Here are some things to consider when deciding to have veneers placed.
We understand how helpful it is to see how you will appear and feel with your beautiful new smile. Many of our patients interested in cosmetic procedures are offered a cosmetic preview or "trial smile" at their first appointment. To prepare your trial smile, Dr. Hollar temporarily places cosmetic bonding material over your existing teeth, and expertly shapes the "new" teeth.
Thanks to new digital technology, we are now able to take x-rays with up to 90% less radiation than from older conventional equipment. In addition, this new technology generates images that are diagnostically superior to x-ray film. Retrievability and portability are also greatly enhanced. Environmentally safe, the digital x-rays require no developing solutions, fixers, cleansers, or x-ray mounts.

There are times when a person's teeth are in such a severe state, that full-mouth rehabilitation becomes necessary. Common reasons for such major treatment are severe wear, bruxism, extensive decay, tooth loss, periodontal disease, replacement of old dental work, a bad bite, crooked teeth, enamel erosion, retained deciduous teeth, genetically small teeth, trauma, and tetracycline stain.

I've been going to Susan Hollar's practice for about five years and every time, I'm blown away at their exceptional customer service. I mean, who knew going to the dentist could actually be enjoyable?!?!? Dr. Devon McClurg has been absolutely extraordinary with her care of my dental needs; she's very thorough with her explanations making sure I understood everything, she had a gentle touch when it came to the actual procedures, as well as a calm demeanor when I started getting nervous from the sounds of the dreaded drill.

I never met Dr. Hollar _ I was assigned to the other dentist. Rather than completing my treatment plan and resolving the issues I came in with, she told me that I need braces. I've never heard that before in my life. Of course they're $6,000 down. I had already committed the $500 required for my impressions. I had to go through that twice, just to come back and be told she couldn't do what I actually needed/wanted done, because she decided I need braces in my 50s.

I have been seeing Dr. Hollar for over a year she is absolutely amazing. My case was difficult but she assured me everything would be fine. Dr. Hollar and her staff are so polite, and professional. Dr Hollar and her staff are AMAZING! I have been going here for years for my cleanings and they always do a great job. This past weekend I had an accident and chipped my front tooth. I called their team and they got me in on that Monday to get me fixed up! Dr Hollar bonded the tooth and you cannot even tell I ever chipped it. I had a terrible experience with veneers done by another dentist in the area (several fell off or cracked) so I decided to switch to Dr. Hollar. The quality of the work is light years ahead of my prior dentist. She paid attention to the smallest details when shaping my veneers. I have had very few issues with my new teeth and when I did, Dr. Hollar fixed the problem quickly and free of charge (unlike my previous dentist who billed me every time I had to come in for a repair).

I have been coming to Dr Hollar since the early 2000s. When I say she ranks with the Renaissance masters of sculpture, I mean it. She is incredibly talented because she took my ugly teeth and transformed them into a thing of beauty.
Her staff is outstanding. Very professional, but very personable also. I can honestly say that I look forward to going to the dentist because they treat me well and we all have a great time.

Dr. Susan Hollar and her entire staff are polite, professional, excellently skilled in their positions; including photography & lab! This is by far the most well run team with a brilliant cosmetic dentist leading the way! Rarely have I waited 5 minutes. I came in from a disastrous full mouth restoration plan from Las Colinas Cosmetic Dentistry; to get a consult. (I was still in temps for almost a year on both lowers and uppers and would wait 2 hours!)
