Home is the sanctuary of the soul. Like our bodies, our homes reflect how and where we are - what we need, lack, and desire. A minimalist by nature, I've always been passionate about uncluttered space, effortless design and easy flow of air, light, and energy. I love helping people create safe and nurturing living areas for restoration, clarity and renewal.

I grew up in Northern Finland and have a life-long practice of simplicity, ecology, design, somatics, travel and asking a lot of questions. I hold a bachelors degree in conceptual art and a masters degree in somatic psychology. I'm also a California licensed massage therapist and certified in dance-based expressive arts therapy.
Services
During the initial consultation we will discuss your relationship to your home and your material possessions - what they mean and symbolize, how they support you, what you may be ready to let go of. We will clarify intentions and map out desired changes - refreshing, updating and reorganizing your home to best align with your needs.
My rate is $95/h. I have a limited amount of low-income sessions available upon request - I'm offering more of these in 2021 to align with the spirit of the times. I offer an initial complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. I also offer an in-person consultation for $150 for up to 90 minutes, including an email follow-up detailing the intentions, visions and concrete steps we discussed.

I agree with other reviews that Anna is a pleasure to work with. She is sharp, thoughtful and responsive. Anna is also intuitive and non-judgmental, which I deeply appreciated as we went through piles of crap in my office and garage during a space clearing. She helped me to envision the space I wanted to work in and take steps to rearrange. I also recommend Anna's flower arrangements, which I order regularly for my home. They are works of art - minimalist, tasteful and colorful, with flowers I never knew existed. I think her rates are reasonable for the quality of her work.

We loved working with Anna and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing flowers for their special event. She made the entire process easy and worry-free - from planning out the flowers and colors, to the actual drop off and set-up. She is absolutely trustworthy and easy to communicate with. Most of all, I felt that the flowers were completely personalized to our taste. For a simple wedding, we requested a bouquet, boutonnière, and various sizes of arrangements for tables. Each bouquet was stunning and unique, and we received many compliments. Couldn't recommend her enough!

My partner and I decided to move in together, and thanks to Anna, we did so with love and grace.

I'm going to write a long post to describe the breadth of what Anna does, since we've worked with her on big and small projects. The takeaway is she really listens and takes direction, but can also take the reigns and get the job done. She's dependable, trustworthy and has a fantastic eye. Read on if you would like to hear about the process of working with her.

She came to my home office a when I was having trouble being productive in the space... for months I couldn't stand to

"I moved into a new building and Anna helped me go through all my belongings and sort out what makes sense to keep and what to let go of. It wasn't always easy but it felt really good to say goodbye to the stuff with old energy. In my new space we organized everything to be as practical and aesthetically pleasing as possible in a matter of a few days. I usually dread moving (like most people) but Anna made the whole process feel fast, easy, smooth and even fun. Highly recommended!"

Anna joined me at my apartment last month for a space clearing session. Over an hour and a half consultation, she offered new ways to think (and feel) about my living space. As we walked through each room, she identified specific locations that could benefit from deliberate attention and care -- for example, the ledge above my sink, which catches sunlight at a few times of day; and a family room bookcase, which I never realized was the first thing a visitor sees upon entering. In addition to highlighting opportunities to de-clutter certain areas, she also encouraged me to think about how to integrate
