Born and raised upcountry, been a service member for 9 years, never ever had a problem with 808 towing.
They have saved me so much $$$$ over the years , I'm very busy as we own a farm and tend to lock my keys in my truck from time to time with the everyday hustle n bussle
Today I have the pleasant experience of meeting Peter the owner of 808 towing and his son.
From the start as soon as we met , he was very loud and aggressive.
We live 200 ft down a perfectly drivable gravel road to our paved driveway as we live upcountry on ag land ,As most

Asked for a 9:30pm stranded flat tire towing for a classic car and they refused to help us!! Said we live too far out! Talked to owner and he was rude and not accommodating in any way!! Wanted to tow to a tire company or another address!!! At 9:30pm! Who is open at that time??? We were left starnded! Bad bad bad rude service! No Aloha and no service. Never use them!!!

Peter and 808 are simply outstanding. My truck was totalled while sitting at a light. Hit and run deal and my wife and I were stunned. Peter was there within minutes, was calm, kind and helped us navigate through police, insurance and getting us back home. He was professional and kind.
In the following weeks as I jumped through repair estimates and dealt with insurance companies (they caught the runner) Peter was always there being helpful and supportive. I am so glad he showed up at our accident and will always go to 808.

Peter was super fast at arriving before estimated wait time for assistance. He was very knowledgeable as he could see a previous assistance left marks on my car before. He was very friendly, and rescued me in 5 minutes of arrival. By far best towing company I've have used in all my life. I reccomend calling 808towing for all your car troubles. The other day while on vacation in Hawaii we needed a tow truck south of Hana (let me add I am 63 and handicapped). We called AAA Roadside Assistance (after having to hike 1/4 mile to get a cell signal).
AAA was very helpful and said they would dispatch a tow truck and it should be there in 2 1/2 hours or 5:45 pm. to tow us to Kahului, I also told AAA about a tow truck driver who I had flagged down with a AAA logo but he wanted $800 cash to tow us to Kahului to which the AAA dispatcher said he should never had asked to be paid when I'm a AAA member. When 5:45 rolls around and still no truck

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. If you look up the opposite of kindness in the dictionary it will say "808 Towing". Wish I could give zero stars. Higher price than other two companies - are they price gouging because they work with AAA?
Update: the next day Peter called me and I couldn't talk as I was in the middle of a bank transaction. He then proceeded to text a long text to me demanding that I remove the review I wrote. Basically harrassing me until I finally had to block the numbers. Wow. Just wow.

Cameron from 808 towing saved our lives! He was quick thinking and came up with a solution to our popped tire on a treacherous road when we didn't have the correct tool to get the spare down. He was able to fix the problem quickly on a holiday weekend instead of leaving us stranded without a car for several days. Ask for Cameron!

Peter and John are amazing! When my husband wanted to take the "adventure" way back from the Jaws lookout, we got a flat tire in the middle of a muddy puddle. With minimal phone service we were nervous how long we would be out there. Peter and John got to the scene, got us out, fixed the tire, and drove us back up to the top of our off roaring adventure. They recommended us a couple of local businesses to get the rental car cleaned up and suggestions on how to handle our insurance and the rental company. Kenzi went above and beyond to take care of my spouse and I with a dead battery, she had one available, checked our tires, inside system of our car and replaced the battery. She was very nice and caring about our concerns. She was 1000 stars of appreciation! We were fortunate to work with 808 Towing on one of our Make-a-Wish-hawaii wishes! These guys were delivering something awesome for our wish child and they were so easy to work with. While I was not in charge of the booking, Denise called me to let me know what time her team was gonna be doing the delivery and let me know that they would give me a call when they were on their way so we could coordinate the timing.

Hi - I am visiting Maui and my rental car battery died for 2nd time, which is a bit inconvenient as you need to call the mainland (Avis) , be put on hold, answer all the questions and then wait for dispatch of a tow truck. It takes about 90 min to 2 hours in the parking lot. Well 808 Towing was my second time with the battery dead. I went through the routine and to my surprise I got a call from a LIVE PERSON at 808 Towing. He was updating me on timing and was Super Professional and Helpful. From the very first phone call (when I was in a panic), Peter alleviated all our concerns. Our first problem was not having a ramp to load the container and NO ONE knew where to rent one (I called 5 or 6 places). Thankfully, I happened to Google "How to load a car in a shipping container" and a video popped up showing a tow truck could be used. I called 808 Towing and Peter advised me he could handle it, no issue. He also had a contact w KTS that rented ramps for container loading/ unloading, praise the Lord!! I called

Peter and his crew at 808 Towing (Jacey on the phone and Justin and John with additional trucks) helped us load not just one, but two cars onto our container being shipped to the mainland. The first car was our family's 'baby', a pretty, yellow Mercedes Benz 1962 190SL convertible roadster (we shipped it with the hard top on). The 808 crew, with calculated and careful planning, safely loaded the car onto the container, (currently not drivable), anchored it in place with chocks and ties and then replaced the crazy 40' container in our little driveway for loading.
