Not what I expected- While there waiting to see the ER Dr. had to listen to arguing between Haynes Ambulance and ER attending, with response from doctor about accepting patient- don't care where you take the patient, Walmart- KMart, or somewhere but the COVID patient can not stay here-- and my husband had not even been seen yet- should have left, but really needed help. Then listening to nursing talk about people-- and after all of this, my husband was finally seen and was advised nothing wrong-- maybe fungal.. issued meds he didn't need and advised to see someone else on Monday. We did @ Russell

DO NOT GO HERE.
I woke up on a Friday in extreme pain on my back. Thought I pulled a muscle, so I made an appointment with herring chiropractic. Felt a little better after that but still was in pain all weekend.
Monday rolls around and I feel like I’m dying, I’m on so much pain….get to covington healthcare at 8:30 so I would be the first one there when they opened at 9. Someone comes out at 9 and puts a sign on the door saying she wouldn’t be in until 10. I’m in so much pain I get hysterical and have an anxiety attack. The nurse tells me to go to the ER.
So I get to the ER, they run

I am very disappointed in Dr. Maxwell's professionalism. I was taken off morphine late at night with no warning from the doctor. The nurse had no reason to give. I've never had that happen without a discussion first for transition. Made me sick. Nurse said "they do that here if they want to!" So I did get an answer!

By far the worst ER I've ever seen. Doctor shined a light in my eyes from six feet away, doesn't touch people . Failed to address my nausea, fever and neck pain. Nurses yelling down the hall about patients, rude, would not allow me in the same room as my sick grandson because of HIPPA but broadcast the private information about every patient there . I'm still sick and now have to get a ride to urgent care for a doctors note because of their negligence . How do these people have a job??? I will be calling OSHA.

My Mother has received better care at this facility than she ever has at Montgomery hospital's. The patient to nurse ratio is small and they take the time to treat you like family. She has been a number of times in the last couple of years and yes we have ran into that person they may not be as nice as all the others but you also take into account that people may have things going on in their lives. They truly treat my Mother like family, come in and check on her very often but make it feel more like family visiting because they TALK to and with her. Highly recommend!
