Roy built us the most magnificent built in cabinets and desk area. We had a bold idea and Roy brought it to life, improving the design in many ways.
The quality is amazing and this is now the best feature in the whole house.

Roy just completed a second carpentry job for me and it turned out beautifully! He is truly a master carpenter-- and just as important is super-communicative, and provides professional drawings. I highly recommend him!

The entire process with Wood Gem from concept through installation including design and construction was easy and honest. All response times were fast. Roy is friendly and pleasing to work with. There is a lot to be said for liking the people that are working in your home.
The cabinets we purchased from Wood Gem are beautiful full frame cabinets with tongue and groove construction, truly top of the line. They arrived on time and installation was painless despite seriously uneven floors and beams surrounding the cabinets.

Roy was a pleasure to talk and work with. We had a small custom project and Roy took the time to talk through it with me. The end result was that we both decided it didn't make sense to do a custom cabinet and we ended up with a different solution. I respect the fact that Roy doesn't push to make the sale if it's not the right thing to do for the customer.

Roy custom made an end table for my family. Roy transformed our leftover cherry wood into a beautiful side table. He was able to seamlessly blend our piece of wood with new pieces for the legs and shelf. It matches perfectly. It’s flawless! We love it so much. The pieces on his website are also very tempting. The in-lays and ornate carvings are amazing. I want an entire house of his artful masterpieces.

Outstanding!!!! As I neared completion of a total "gut" job of a 40 y/o townhome, I was running out of time and needed help! My work is at a very high standard and was giving up hope of finding a PRO at a reasonable price! Then...along came Roy! Truly a gem!
Roy installed 34 custom made cabinet doors and a dozen drawers in quick fashion, probably BETTER than I ever could, and saved me several days of time which was used to get moved in on time!
I strongly recommend Roy and wish we had met a little earlier in the project as I certainly could have used his awesome talent and experience!
