Services
Woodland Animal Hospital is looking for an innovative and empathetic Veterinarian to join our compassionate team in Locust Grove, Georgia! We believe in giving pets the longest, healthiest life with those who love them. The purpose of the position is to provide care and the basic needs of animals being housed or patients of Woodland Animal Animal Hospital.
Look, we understand that you're busy. In fact, we understand that most people nowadays are pretty busy. Sometimes it feels like there's an eight-hour time slot that we're expected to fit all of our important business into. Kids, school, work, exercise, hobbies-when you can hardly find enough time for yourself, how are you expected to rush home from work to squeeze a veterinary appointment into your schedule?
If we had it our way, our emergency vet services would never be needed. Unfortunately, emergencies happen; and when they do, time of day is not a contributing factor. During the stress and fear of a pet emergency, the last thing a pet parent needs is to worry that their veterinary office is not open.
Your pet's day-to-day wellness is of the utmost importance. Sometimes, it takes a little bit more than food, water and exercise to keep your furry friend happy and healthy. Diseases can appear suddenly in our pets, often when they could have been avoided. That's why our general pet wellness procedures are designed to prevent disease and prolong pets' lives.
At Woodland Animal Hospital, we excel at providing loving care for our furry little patients when they are ill-no one dislikes seeing pets sick more than we do! We believe the best strategy to keep pets healthy and free from common illnesses is a good dose of prevention. Pet vaccinations are the most effective means to guard against common feline and canine sicknesses.

Dr. Haggard & Kaley we’re SO helpful. Like most of us, our pup is our baby and they took SUCH good care of him while he has been there. They were so patient and answered all of our questions and helped put us at ease. 10/10 recommended. Every person that answered the phone when we called and all the people that helped us throughout the process were just so kind and I couldn’t be more thankful. Can’t wait to bring this baby home today!

I'm literally the only car out here and their taking forever to come out . And on top of that their prices are out the roof . This is just crazy they dont care about your pets they just want your money.. I literally spent 500$ for nothing . My dog isn't eating and they gave him medicine that he would have to eat with food in order to take it knowing that my dog isn't eating.. you can bring in a dying animal and they won't do anything for the animal until you pay .... so just because we cant pay all that money their willing to let our pets die

10:26 pm I noticed my puppy’s right rear leg was clearly in some sort of pain. I called the 1st number I found on Google and this amazing guy Elijah answered my call! Never before have I ever had such a empathetic receptionist who’s truly concerned with the health of your pet! When he could no longer help me, he got one of the vet tech Heather P. to assist me and boy was she just as attentive & Amazing! She answered every question I had without fail. She made me feel important and valued as a perspective client. I’ll walk in as instructed tomorrow morning and I look forward to an amazing

Run they are in it for the money not for your pet. You pay $77 for absolutely nothing. They say the $77 is for an exam but really their exams tell you nothing but a bunch of I thinks but I don’t know. They won’t tell you what’s going on with your dog unless you agree to pay the extra fees. The extra fees are very high and they don’t cover any actual treatment they just cover test. If you just need an exam to know what’s going on with pup don’t come here. You will leave disappointed with less money than you had before and still not know what’s really going on with your pet. We brought our sweet fur baby to Woodland when she was very lethargic. Dr. Richardson found she had a tumor on her spleen and it had ruptured. Dr. Haggard operated that same night and she, along with the other vets, techs and staff, took amazing care of our baby during her stay. When the results from the tumor came back, Dr. Haggard was so gentle when she explained it had been what we had feared, a hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer. Our sweet Nina started showing signs again a month later and we took her back to Woodland, because after the love they showed for her, we trusted they would

Our dog ate a sock a few days ago and we brought him to Woodland. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had a lot of questions and they were happy to answer them all. I also appreciated the accurate estimate of cost before administering any treatments. The doctor explained our options and we were able to make an informed decision together. Our dog came home happy and healthy! Thanks Woodland!

This is loooong overdue!!! Woodland Animal Hospital provided excellent care to my fur baby. I felt that they genuinely cared for my fur baby and they're genuinely dedicated to their profession. Although my fur baby did not recover, I know she was in good hands during the time she was there

We have had nothing but the best experience ever!!! Our bully Bella was so sick. It came out of nowhere. We were told that she had Pyometra. I had never heard of this before in my life. She was going to die if she didn't have the surgery that she needed. So we did what we needed to do and put our trust into these wonderful people!!! The communication was amazing, I don't deal with emergencies when it comes to the things that I love so them calling and keeping me updated answering all my questions really helped my anxiety. My husband and I are forever grateful!!!
I would give this place a million

I would give them zero stars if I could. I brought my dog in Thursday a little before 6pm as an emergency because she out of no where had two seizures. An hour and a half later they come out just to tell me her vitals came back normal. At 10pm we were still there with no word, I called and the vet and said he had my dogs blood work back but couldn’t tell me right now because they were busy tending to other animals who came and left all within the 6 hours I was waiting. At 11:30 I finally said enough and called him to get her blood work results. He mentioned he thought she might have an enlarged
