At Holm Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.

We have a wide range of resources to support you not only today, but in the weeks and months to come. We can create a customized, online memorial for you to share with family and friends. The memorial includes the obituary and any photographs you wish to provide. It will serve as a place for visitors to post condolences, share memories, upload photos, and light candles in honor of your loved one.
Services
Our professional services include but are not limited to, availability on a 24 hour basis, consultation with family and clergy, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangement, obtaining, preparation and filing of all necessary notices, authorizations and consents, certificates and permits and coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Jeff is the owner and licensed funeral director of the Holm Funeral Home. He purchased the Holm Funeral Home in 1998 from his father Larry Holm.
Funding for prearranged funerals is also available for those who wish to prepay their funeral expenses. Paying for these products and services in advance can sometimes be the easiest and most affordable option, as prefunding can protect your family from having to pay future price increases. To request more information regarding preplanning/pre-arrangement, or to begin the preplanning process, please call us at (641)622-2307.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
