I've always been a bit of a contrarian. In third grade, I wore my clothes backwards like Kris Kross. I watched WCW over the WWF. I liked Monica more than Rachel. As somebody that's always bucked the status quo, I could see the democratization of content creation coming, and it was the type of disruption I wanted to be a part of.

I got into commercials because "market research" as a reality TV producer during the height of Honey Boo Boo and Jersey Shore was killing my soul. 9 years later, I've produced and/or directed over 50 spots for brands all over the country. I'm much happier. I live in Orange County with my wife Chantel, 1 year-old daughter London, and our husky, Bella.

Harrison was great. The space was great and convenient. Most importantly, Harrison was a gracious host and a complete help. I couldn't have done it without him.

Harrison and the riot maker staff were really warm and welcoming. The studio is spacious, clean and shoulder the basic needs of most photographers looking to shoot studio work in LA and needing to avoid hauling heavy lights, stands, and other equipment if traveling.

I found the studio on Craig's list initially and thought this deal was too good to be true so I called the number provided on the website and meet the owner of the studio, Harrison. He assured me that I could, in fact rent the studio and that he could provide everything I needed for a successful shoot. He did!

I love this studio. I've rented it out a couple times now to help a friend with her book and used it again recently for a product shoot. The owner harrison is super down to earth and very accommodating. I had to reschedule my first shoot because of a last minute cancel. Fortunately I was able to easily get another day and time without paying extra which was nice.

Rates are good too. Highly recommend to anyone looking to do a shoot in downtown. It's got a boutique vibe to it which is what I love about it.

Heard about this location through a friend who found this spot on craigslist, we both were kinda iffy but we went in with an open mind especially since the price was great! We got there and it was so clean and bright! High ceilings, huge windows, a brick wall on one side with steel beams in an x shape that gave the space a nice industrial feel to it with the amenities of a good photo studio.

Harrison is the owner of the studio, he's super fun, super chill, and super HELPFUL! I've shot there about 5 times now and never have I had a bad experience, I will tell you that the space is very
