Alternative Transportation Systems is absolutely my go-to. I've used them multiple times for trips into Boston, and to the airport with my grandmother, who is in a wheelchair. Each of my drivers have always been perfectly professional, respectful and pleasant. Highly recommend!

The name fits! Great alternative to using the Ride. I have always had a good experience with everyone who came to pickup my Mom (wheelchair assistance needed). Professional, polite, good drivers, wearing their mask, pleasant conversations, arrived on time. All of this matters for a daughter who was already stressed over having to put her Mom through a trip to doctors, especially through covid. And of course for my Mom. They all showed respect to her. They all made my trips out with my Mom easier. Although she sadly passed recently, I want to thank all the Massachusetts drivers that helped make

While much of the time the drivers are great there are a few who struggle and comprehend the needs of the consumer they are transporting. While we all have struggled during the pandemic, lack of communication out not be an excuse. When the consumer calls to confirm a trip, please understand why. And by the way... they cannot handle criticism. If you do it too much... you will get black balled and they refuse your trips. 97% may be because you discontinued certain riders. Be careful Alternative... you never know who you are transporting and who they know or are connected to.

I have been using them because the are under contract to the Veterans Hospital at Bedford. The dispatchers are always friendly and courteous. Driver's even take it a step further by being extremely safety concous. I feel very safe being in my wheelchair and thoroughly secure inside the Transport Van. I deducted a star because on three occasions their phone system was out. This needs to be fixed soon.

While the ride home from B & W Hospital was just fine, the ride to almost caused a heart attack. The driver called me from the street screaming where are you. Then he took off at 70 mph screaming all the way into Boston taking corners at an angle. Given I was one month away from a serious accident, this did not help. Way beyond unprofessional.

Outstanding driver on the morning of July 30, 2021. ! I had to take a wheelchair family member from metro west to Mass General Hospital in Boston for a crucial medical appointment. We were picked up right on time at 8:15: am. Our driver was an exceptionally polite and careful young woman.
She helped me get the patient safely out of the.house on our home ramp. She then skillfully used the equipment to get the patient safely into the van. Our driver was strong and very knowledgable about how to handle a wheelchair patient safely and courteously. Before departure, our driver was extremely careful

One of the employees here, Chris Farrell was extremely polite, curious, and kind. I had the opportunity to talk and swap stories while we were traveling into Boston. The whole organization was very professional and I was picked up on time and was treated with care. If I could review it for 10 stars I would!
