I contacted them about my AC not cooling. I told them that it was leaking freon. A service tech came by and said he was detecting a leak in the coil on the inside unit. The price given to me to replace the coil was quite expensive, and I was told that I should probably replace the whole system. I found another company to come out, do an actual leak test, and they found the leak. It was in the outside unit. The coil and entire inside unit was fine. I paid this other company about a third of the price that Carpenter quoted me on replacing a coil that I didn't need.
