Encore Dance Centre is an Award Winning Dance Centre with a proven track record of offering the finest instruction and producing technically sound dancers. We are serious about helping each child become his or her personal best. EDC provides a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Encore is pleased to announce not only are we continuing great vocal sessions, we have piano lessons too!
We have teamed up with Epic Charter Schools and look forward to providing quality instruction to all our Encore Dancers and Families. This year 21/22 Dance year; families will be responsible for all fees until EPIC has finished implementing new programs and software. Estimation of completion is October or November.

Services
Mackenzie Asher was a beloved dancer with our EDC family. In 2017, at 11 years old, Mackenzie lost her long battle with Leukemia and each year we honor her memory with a Carnival themed fundraiser. It was her favorite theme the 10SrongOKC hosted on the 10th floor at OU children's hospital.
She was also a competitive dancer on the EDC Competition Dance Team for three years and in her last year here, she was awarded the Dancer of the Year/Bill Graham Memorial Scholarship Award.She loved ballet, hip-hop, jazz and Encore was her dance home.

Classes are distinguished by experience level and references age. This gives us the ability to truly meet the dancers needs where they are, instead of placing them into an age group that may not fit their ability.
Encore also recognizes additional needs for dancers needing to get a jump start on technique and conditioning with our classes specifically designed to address Leaps, Turns, Extensions, Acro, Audition pieces for School & Colleges & More.

This section of our year will be dedicated to enrolling current and future EDC Dancers and knocking out routines dedicated to our EDC Competition Team. All regular based classes will begin Tuesday, Sept. 7th, 2021. Afternoon fundraiser in honor of our beloved Mackenzie Asher. She may be gone from our sight but her fighting spirit continues to be with all those she touched in our studio.
EDC Company Competitive dancers are some of the most well rounded dancers. We perform in two required competitions per year with many additional and optional competitions available. We attend one required team dance convention and occasionally organize and perform in the Energy Half-Time Performance Show, Festival of the Arts and various entertainment venues.
