Apparently Patti's has remodeled. The internet pix looks nothing like it. We were pleasantly surprised. The colors are a bit more neutral and inviting. Looks like the flooring has been updated as well as the rooms.
Everything was clean and fresh smelling.
The beds were comfortable and the pillows plentiful.
Premium channels are great for the insomniacs.
The Christmas decorations were nicely done. Every floor also has its own Christmas tree.
The staff was nice and welcoming.
Breakfast (free) includes Patti's bread and strawberry butter. Of course, there's waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and

We stayed here with our son, his wife and 14 month old boy on a long trip back to Georgia from Colorado. This was a welcome change from the big chains we’ve regularly used. The inn staff are local and care about their work. From check in to departure they were courteous and friendly. It was spotless. We had adjoining rooms of modest size but with exactly the amenities and comforts you’d want for a safe and comfortable night. Don’t overlook this local gem!

The staff was very nice. The rooms were also nice for an older hotel. We found everything fairly clean. The deal breaker was the shower. The shower head was at my shoulder (I'm 6'3"), but that wasn't the problem. The shower curtain was mounted about 3" from the shower head (see photos). This made showering almost impossible.
