At Hillcrest Nursing Center, we pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere that enriches the lives of our patients and residents. Here are just a few of the many amenities that. Many incidents that create the need for rehabilitation - such as a stroke, heart attack, fall or other type of accident - are events we don't anticipate.

Our staff is available to guide you through the process whenever any question arises. Whether you need to recover after surgery in our Skilled Nursing facility, are looking for rehabilitation. Hillcrest Nursing Center is a health care community offering individuals a place to recover, rehabilitate and/or reside, depending on their specific needs.
Services
Hillcrest Nursing Center takes pride in working with a resident and his or her family with the goal of the best possible outcome, whether that means long term care or specialized rehabilitation so that the person can return home. We believe that the focus of nursing services is the patient and in supporting each patient's need for privacy, dignity and equality.
Our facility is always looking for warm and caring health care professionals to join our team. This facility is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. We recruit, hire, train, and employ without discrimination due to race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, sex, marital status, obligation to serve in the Armed Forces of the United States, or any other characteristic protected by applicable Federal or State law.
Skilled nursing services cover a variety of medical treatments and therapies that help individuals recuperate in our medical community. Our team of professionals work together with your personal physician to help treat and manage both chronic and acute conditions. We understand that for a person to achieve optimum wellness, they need more than skilled medical care.
Wound care prevention and treatment are two essential elements in any comprehensive plan of care and our staff receives specialized training in the detection, prevention and treatment of wounds. One type of wound found in healthcare settings are pressure ulcers (bedsores), which can form when there is prolonged pressure on the skin.
For those living with a chronic condition that requires continuous medical monitoring and care, we provide a residential setting in which to continue leading a life of purpose and enjoyment. Our full range of activities and amenities create an environment where residents can continue to learn, socialize and explore in a setting that emphasizes style and comfort.

I wouldn't make the same mistake twice. Oh wait! I can't. My Grandmother is no longer here. I placed her at Hillcrest in 2010. She was to be there until she completed therapy (to walk again, feed herself, etc. after cancer surgery). I have pics taken of her every single day while she was here. The last pic I have taken here was the day before they let her fall out of her wheelchair. She went from walking with a walker (and assistance) to NEVER being able to walk again. NEVER going home. Prior to this, the first eight months, we had some issues, but nothing that couldn't be resolved. Then, new management

I am happy with the staff, but my complaint is with the Nurse partiitioner, George. He had no authority to decide whether I was in pain. Considering that I have three doctors on the coast, diagnosed me with a pinched nerve in my spine.
In the meantime I sit here in severe pain. Just because he decided I didn't need it. I'm am not very happy with his care

Working at Hillcrest has been a blessing. I truly love my work and the residents I serve. At one time I felt I would not care for working with the geriatric population, but I was wrong.
