Services
Having a family can change your priorities. That sporty two-door was great for getting around town when you were living alone. Once you're married, and you start adding to the family, you need different things from your car. Safety, space, reliability and low maintenance costs. The same can be said for your family auto insurance.
Jupiter offers flexible policies in all states, and we focus on demystifying the state regulations to get you insured and on the road with as little hassle and worry as possible. State by state, laws vary. Minimum liability amounts and driving regulations often have differences depending on the state.
If you have ever had your license suspended, then the law requires you to jump through some extra hoops before you can be insured and roadworthy again. A SR22 certificate is a certificate of financial responsibility. Basically, it is proof that you meet your state's minimum insurance requirements, and that you will continue to do so for a certain period.
The definition of a high risk driver differs depending on the insurance company, but put simply, a high risk driver has a high chance of filing a claim. Many insurance companies will deny you service if they think that your policy is going to cost more than they charge. However, having insurance is a legal requirement, so don't despair if you are denied.
On the state pages of our website, we cover the legally required insurance minimums, and we take great care to let you know that there are other options available. But, why should you consider going beyond state required coverage? State limits can be quite low, especially when you consider what you're potentially liable for.

This company is ridiculous. It’s been almost two months since I was hit by someone who had this insurance and the company can’t get the paperwork right or pay the bills they said they were going to pay. It seems they don’t answer their phone since every time I’ve called I have to leave a voicemail. And not a single person I have talked to had been pleasant. If I could give this company zero stars I would. This company is pathetic and a complete nightmare to deal with

I actually wish i could give them 0 stars. i filed 2 comprehensive claims with this company and they found a way to deny both claims. I pay my premiums faithfully every month and you deny my right to file a comprehensive claim to repair both of my vehicles. I would not recommend jupiter insurance to anyone who has common sense to not want to be screwed over by an insurance company. piss poor customer service on the phone this is just a piss poor company. will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

My experience is very similar to others. Their customer service is deplorable. I was lied to regarding my payments so many times. I went to Shelter and not only saved about $250 a year but have better coverage and great customer service

Jupiter Auto Insurance is overpriced and will subject you to convenience fees for every transaction. After being told my already overpriced insurance would be going up due to Federated Insurance coverage being pulled from Georgia, I found insurance for a third of Jupiter. After finding my change they charged me $25 for cancellation that I was not told about. For changing like they told me to. AND had to pay yet another convenience for that equaling $30 for following their instructions. I give them a warranted 1/5 for price, customer service, and headache.

When I called customer service, at first I was getting a lot of good information that the insurance agency I had gone through had failed to mention. However, when I asked if the late fee could be taken off since I did not know the first payment was due within 20 days unlike the other payments, the guy on the phone started laughing every 30 seconds. I am fairly certain he was high. He then said I had to go through my agency, which didn't make sense to me. I went to my agency they said I had to talk to the company. Between this bad encounter and the way my agency acted, I ended up canceling my policy

Worst insurance company EVER! Took them a month and a half to fix my truck after it had some damage. They took it to Atlanta and then I had to pay to have it brought back to me in Macon! Sure the rates are low, but there is a reason! Also, twice since I have had them they did not load the insurance into the GA system so I had to pay the state to prevent them from cancelling my vehicle registration! Can't wait to switch to another insurance company!! Also, when filing my claim I had to call the agent in order for him to do absolutely anything every step of the way! He would tell me what the next

Was laughed at by Char in the claims department. She finds people's misfortunes hilarious apparently. Was given the run around and told that my boyfriend, who's name was on the car because he is co-owner, would not be told any information regarding our car because he wasn't on the policy and at one point she told me it was illegal that he wasn't on the policy in the first place, but when i mentioned that we have always done this on several cars and never had an issue with it being illegal because he doesn't have a drivers license and she told me "well that's neither here nor there". she instigated
