Services
Provides no-cost services to families and their children/adolescents in New Mexico with mental health and/or brain injury challenges. One hundred percent (100%) of our staff are parents who have raised or are raising a child with mental health or brain injury challenges. Forty percent (40%) of our staff are adults who have a mental health diagnosis.
Families ASAP staff will partner with you to locate services, supports, programs, and skill-building opportunities, all focused on helping you be an informed and empowered parent. Our staff will partner with you to ensure your child is receiving a free and appropriate education. Our staff will partner with you to ensure your voice is heard and your choice is given priority (need better word).
The path for the parent of a child/ youth can suddenly change into coping with a new cognitive obstacle, navigating through complex systems and services to gain assistance. Here at Families ASAP, we are families who have endured this journey and can help you to ease the frustration and stress of these difficult paths.
