Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a nation-wide movement of Primary Care doctors who have disembarked from the insurance companies and their assembly-line model of medicine in favor of re-establishing the patient-doctor relationship. We operate on a monthly membership fee, which allows patients to receive unlimited office visits and technology visits (email, cell phone/text messages).
At Roark Family Health, DPC means you spend more time with your doctor, building a much closer patient/doctor relationship. Dr. Roark is able to spend more time with her patients and generally guarantees appointments within 24 hours. Our membership-based approach to routine and preventive care can significantly reduces health care costs.

Services
I love it here, the nature and the people. I hail from Carmel, Indiana, and I am happy to be of service to the people of Cassville. Direct Primary Care (DPC) has been a passion of mine since my days at Meharry Medical College and my time at Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency in South Bend, Indiana.
Families with children under age 18 in the same house, add $20/month per child with a maximum family expense of $200/month. 20% discount for employers with 3 total participating employees, when employer is covering the group as a whole. Membership fees are prepaid monthly with direct withdrawal available.
Simply call the clinic to make an appointment at (417)847-1111. This is a free service for our members, or a fee of $100 for nonmembers for an in-office or telehealth visit. No membership is necessary! To prepare for your appointment, please know your current medications and medical conditions. If uncertain of your medical history, please obtain your medical records showing any previous treatment for your Qualifying Condition.
Simply call the clinic to make an appointment at (417)847-1111. The charge is $100. To qualify, you must have one of the qualifying medical conditions and it must be chronic (greater than 6 months). If you are uncertain of your medical history, you can request your records from your previous physician.
Arkansas state law is now requiring in person certifications for medical marijuana patients. To qualify, you must have one of the qualifying medical conditions. Intractable pain which is pain that has not responded to ordinary medications, treatment or surgical measures for more than six (6) months.

I have worked in food service and Health care since I started my work career almost 18years ago. I have helped and worked on hundreds of customers and patients during this time. Some people were happy and some not so much. My point of this review is that I now have been the Office Manager for Roark Family Health for 6 months. This is the happiest and friendliest Clinic/atmosphere I have had the privilege of working at. Our patients are great and our staff is very caring. Rules and regulations in Missouri/Arkansas were meant to be followed so some people do get upset when we must enforce them. However

I don’t recommend this place if you are looking to get your medical mariguana card, I made an appointment and had to write the reason why I wanted to get it and so I did. I wrote that I have PTSD, severe nausea and chronic pain. You are able to get your MMC from Arkansas if you just have PTSD. My application was approved, 1 week later i was sent plenty reminders about my appointment with Dr.Roark. Had scheduled appointments for my recertification had to cancel twice. Called to cancel when I went to reschedule I was told I was flagged and they wouldn’t see me got my recert thru greenlight. Fast, friendly and cheaper than Roark. Very disappointed in the service I received or should say didn’t receive I think it’s ridiculous I could Understand if I hadn’t called to cancel but I did. Won’t be using this dr again

Dr. Roark and her entire staff are amazingly kind and helpful. I am not very electronic savvy, yet I was able to easily fill out all electronic forms and payments quickly and with ease. When I was having some technical difficulties with my phone connecting to the telehealth appointment, her office staff was so helpful and understanding and we resolved my problem easily. Her telehealth appointments are super easy and affordable as well. I would highly recommend Dr Roark family health for all of your wellness needs. 💖

I will not mention names, because the physician knows who he is. I went in for a work-related finger injury, and I was not offered stitches or any after care. All I was given is a flush of soapy water and bandaged up and sent home. When I got home the injury was getting exponentially worse and I made phone calls and had a hard time getting a hold of people and was told to send pictures. To end all of this, they would not answer any of my phone calls or texts, and now I am in the hospital. My husband arrived for an appointment at 9am and was asked to wear a mask due to Covid-19 protocol. He declined and offered to wait outside. The reception nurse responded by telling him "then you can't be here." He told the nurses at the reception desk that wearing a mask is painful to him due to prior health problems and told them about those problems (I'm not posting his medical history here). Then he left and called to talk to Dr. Roark about the experience, provide feedback, find out how to move forward with the now missed appointment, etc. He was told that she is out of the office on Wednesdays

The doctor I had was not professional at all. He said I had glaucoma in my left eye and said if he had the stuff in his office to fix it he would. So I went and seen someone else and it wasn’t glaucoma at all just a little infection from contacts. If he had the stuff in his office he could have made me blind. Do not recommend going there.

My fiancé has been going to Dr Roark since she was in Aurora. She can call in and be seen if medically needed the same day. The office is easy to reach by phone, text, email. The employees make you feel like part of their family. She has health insurance and still finds the excellent treatment worth the monthly fee which is lower than utilizing her insurance copays.

I am more than confused about the low reviews, but I guess to each his own. (I did notice there were no specifics about why they rated them so low) My experience with this clinic has been awesome in every way. The staff, the personal care, and can't I forget to mention the cost of the med's is unbelievable! I loved Tammy and was sad to see her go, but I have faith that Dr. Roark will find the perfect replacement. I work in another health care business and when someone is in need of a medical Dr. I don't hesitate to send them here, and I have never had a bad report back from any of them. Thank you
