A Social Affair Dance Studio is THE place to learn to dance! Established in 1995, we have members from Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Beaches, Ponte Vedra, Mandarin, St. Augustine, Orange Park and even as far as Georgia. We are the First Coast area's most lively, current, reliable and consistent ballroom and Latin dance studio.

We are located in the Intracoastal/Jacksonville Beach area. Our studio and staff provide a comfortable, fun and friendly atmosphere to learn to dance. We accommodate all age groups, satisfying all our students' needs, and have something financially that all can afford. We teach ballroom dances, Latin, swing, country western, salsa, night club.all the social partner dances.

I am new to Jacksonville's Dance Scene. From the moment I walked through the door, knowing no one, to now a few months later - I have met some many wonderful people and had so many laughs while learning new dances and techniques. A Social Affair is truly a wonderful dance studio which attracts wonderful and talented people. I joined staff and students this weekend at Dance Vision's Tampa event. I am amazed at the stamina, organization, and enthusiasm the ASA staff, especially Larry the owner, Ashley the manager and instructor, Muhidin who seemed get more and more energy as the heats continued through

Shake it up with Shay Zumba is so much fun! I started Zumba here and I absolutely love it. I got a punch card after my first class. The group is so friendly, lively and ready to give Zumba their all. The instructor, Shay is nice and encouraging! Jasmine pops in for some high energy songs as well and just keeps the party going when they tag team. Just what I need to get through some moves.
In comparison to my Zumba classes of the past, it's heavily moderated and not as high impact. It's great for a rest day.

Great dance studio to learn or improve your social ballroom dancing. No dance partner no problem. Friday night social dancing has dancers of all ages, teens to seniors. A wonderful social dancing experience.

Love, love, love dancing at A Social Affair! The teachers are awesome and caring. The students are super-friendly. It's like a big family who dance together. It's also a fantastic and virtually painless way to get exercise. Dancing at ASA makes me happy! Everyone should try it!

My Fiance (now wife) and I wanted a choreographed first dance for our wedding. Amelia McClinton was our Instructor. She was fantastic! Very friendly and patient. The studio itself is great - very friendly staff in a low key and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

When my fiance and I originally asked for a quote, the email we got in reply said exactly this: "We have an Introductory Wedding Program for only $49 per couple, which includes: three (3) private lessons, one (1) complimentary group class lesson, and one (1) practice session." We were excited, because it seemed like a great deal and with our wedding so close we needed to start doing lessons. We showed up for our first complimentary lesson, song already done and ready to go. The two instructors were nice, and seemed patient enough to work with us as we got the hang of the steps they introduced us
