Several years ago Robert "Bob" Jennings noticed a need in the marketplace for quality sliding door repairs. In 2019, he decided to do something about it and the doors of Bay Area Sliding Door Repairs were opened! Bob brings a unique blend of formal education coupled with acquired life skills to his family owned and operated local company.
The Tennessee native did not start out with a plan to keep doors and windows rolling smoothly in the Tampa Bay Area, but his previous career prepared him well for this chosen field of service. Along the way he met and married a third generation Tampa native, and added three sons to his family. When the Florida sunshine beckoned, Bob and his family returned to his wife's hometown, and he took early retirement.

When sliding doors and windows work well, enjoying more of the outdoors and opening up living and working space is easy. But when sliders stick or jam it can be a challenge just to go in and out of your home or business. If one or more of your sliding doors or windows is not working properly it may be frustrating and time consuming to keep your areas safe and secure.

Wow! An absolute example of what a business should be. They are exactly why I prefer to work with small businesses. Bob, the owner, spoke to me on the phone about my concerns regarding my slider. He could tell I was unsure about what repairs I even needed and volunteered to come by to look before we booked an appointment. When he came over he set my mind at ease, walked me through all the needed and optional repairs and worked with me to make sure the price was fair.
The next business day, my repairs were complete. This is a family business, so don't be worried if two younger guys show up to fix

Excellent service all around. Mr. Bob Jennings, the owner, returned my call immediately. He was able to diagnose my door issue over the phone. Other contractors were wanting to replace my door. There was nothing wrong with the door itself, just the door track. The technicians Ross & Logan arrived promptly and completed the track replacement within 30 minutes. Plus they are a local family run business. I couldn't be happier.

Called at 2pm on Friday, and by 3:15, two polite techs were at my house. Issue was fixed by 3:35, and was $250 less than quoted on phone! (Ross the tech said it was a cheaper issue than originally diagnosed on the phone!)
I couldn’t be happier with the speed, politeness, and ease of the transaction from phone call to signing the invoice; and my doors close!
