To say a company has evolved implies that it has adapted, transformed, become more efficient, and quick to identify next steps. That's what's happening at KLJ. With over 80 years serving in the engineering industry, we look back - from a small company working across the Dakotas, to engineering infrastructure across the nation.
Every detail impacts the travel experience - and we want travelers to say great things about your airport. Planning and engineering is just the beginning. The details and work behind the scenes are what really brings your project to life. It's the ability to identify funding opportunities, understand FAA rules, and think beyond today to help you prepare for tomorrow.
History shapes our environment. Taking the time to thoughtfully and accurately inventory history and archaeology on a project site is what we do. A project component often viewed as what slows us down, is actually the part of the process that allows progress to continue.
From understanding the complexities of each detail of Section 106, to completing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, we involve all stakeholders to consider, recommend, and keep projects moving forward.KLJ's archaeologists and historians provide a strong understanding of historic preservation laws and compliance practices.

The environment is important to all of us, and sometimes building the infrastructure is the easy part. Down to the smallest details, we consider all environmental and cultural aspects that could impact your project. Effective environmental planning starts your project off right and keeps it moving forward.
Funding is a critical component of any infrastructure project. Limited resources, public support, and state and federal regulations can all impact a project. Let us take the guesswork out of navigating project funding alternatives, facilitating stakeholder support, and understanding upcoming regulations so your project can move forward on your timeline.

Terrible Company to work with, Would never hire them. If you do, expect a bunch of non-sense billable hours billed to your project, and when you refute them, they immediately Lien your property and tell pay or else. No checks and balances and consists of a bunch of crooks. Looks like my old review was removed. People still need to know how you handle business.
