I mis-read Mt. View for Mt. Home and booked last minute at the Dogwood motel. After finding my mistake, it was past the 24hr cancellation time frame so I just decided to eat the cost and book a room in Mt. Home. Come to find out the owner/manager decided not to charge me the cost when I didn't show up. He didn't have to but he did which gets high praise from me. If ever I need to stay in Mt View, it will be at the Dogwood motel!!!

Small, privately owned motel. Sweet lady at the front desk for check in. Room was adequate and quiet, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom sink stopper was messed up, but overall, it was a great stay for a very reasonable price.

This was our first time staying here and was very pleased. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Was so happy with our bed. The staff here are very friendly. The room had a nice decor and some retro style also. Will definitely be back. Great place to stay to get away.

Extremely clean! It smelled really good! "You get what you pay for" doesn't apply here because you get so much more than you pay for. Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice bathroom. Big, clean pool. Large TV with many channels. No telephone. I would have liked to have information in my room about the area. Coffee pot and coffee. Refrigerator and microwave. Blow-dryer. Friendly staff. The building is older but I found it charming. Thank you for a good night sleep.

The owner, whom checked is in was beyond sweet and the rooms were nicely accommodated and more than clean. The beds were out of this world comfortable and t have e poos WAS open!! Couldn't find a better place!

It's an older motel but they keep the rooms spotless, I've been to doctors offices and hospital rooms that weren't as clean. The owner that checked us is was extremely nice, he treated my 84 year old Father like he was his own dad. If you want a great stay in Mountain View for a great price you won't regret booking at the Dogwood Motel.

The price was great, and the owner was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful. The pool was also clean and relaxing. We will definitely be staying there anytime we are in Mountain Home!

If you want your hard earned money to go to a great family business and not a CEO vacation, this is it. Their rooms are very clean, yet modest. They have all the essentials and are pet friendly. My dog was not on her best behavior and caused some damage. The owner was very reasonable and we were able to rectify the situation fairly.

What a cute little gem of a find! The manager are a super friendly couple. The rooms clean, spacious and the beds comfy ( if you like soft beds). Was not expecting this to be as well kept and clean as we found it. And for a VERY affordable price! Would most definitely stay here again if I was in the area..
