In 2009 Denise Ivers Esthetician/Owner established Face It Beautiful Skin Care in the Bay Area. In 2017 a second location opened in Santa Maria CA and a slight name change was made; Face It beautiful Acne Care & Skin Therapy. The business has evolved into an acne treatment center, yet still serves clients with other skin issues such as aging skin, pigmentation and sensitive skin issues.
If you are a new client please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow you time to find my location. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time or may need to be rescheduled if you're more than 15 minutes late. Please do not request a price adjustment for a reduced service for a late arrival.
All facials are 60-90 minutes and include steam, extractions, facial massage, mask, treatment serums, lip and eye treatments, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Your initial visit will include a detailed skin analysis and recommendations for home care. Face It Beautiful Skin Care offers the newest hybrid peels on the market today.
We will schedule your virtual appointments every two weeks for 15-30 minutes ($45) to discuss your progress, make adjustments to your home care routine, discuss dietary, lifestyle and other issues that affect acne. For the first two months (every two weeks) I will be adjusting how you use your products based on your progress.
During your first visit, you will complete a detailed skin questionnaire and your skin will be evaluated to determine the type of acne you have, products that you will use and the best in-office treatments for your type of acne. You will receive treatments every two weeks until your acne clears.
An Acne Clearing Program folder with information on how to manage your acne, lifestyle changes that may need to be made and several resources to keep you clear will be given to you on your first appointment.You will receive your first treatment and products will need to be purchased. Your full sized products will cost $165-185 pretax and will last approx 2.5 months.
