Gottlieb Frederick (G.F.) Bram moved to Denver Missouri after his discharge from the Army at the ending of the Civil War. Denver is located six miles southeast of Grant City, the county seat of Worth County, Missouri. It was in Denver in 1865, that he established the G.F. Bram General Merchandise Store.
Jeff Bram is president of the Bram Funeral Home of Maryville, Inc., and has over 26 years of experience as a Missouri licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. In October of 2006, the Bram's purchased the former USDA building, and moved back to Maryville to start a funeral business. Our Motto is: "A Northwest Missouri Funeral Tradition in a Caring, Compassionate, and more affordable way."
The Bram Funeral Home is located in the Old USDA Building on E. South Hills Drive. The exciting feature about this location is the accessibility to the public. We are a no step facility. The men's and women's restroom's are large and handicap accessible. Our main chapel will seat 172, with a private family room with seating for 53 and a quiet room for families with small children.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
