Placing your loved ones in the care of others is a big step and takes a leap of faith that they will provide a great environment and experience for your family member and all residents. Thankfully there is Newhaven in San Angelo. I give them excellent reviews overall. The building provides a home like feel and it is very small which gives residents lots of attention. The staff is really what makes this place a winner. They are always very friendly, caring and ready to assist with any needs. They work very hard. I observe them moving and going at all times, making sure the residents are comfortable

The staff at New Heaven in San Angelo,Texas were absolutely awesome with my mom. The room was beautiful and comfortable feeling.
Could not asked for any better.
Just sorry we did not find them sooner.
Appreciate everything thing the staff did to make her last 6 months so peaceful.
5 stars review are NOT near enough.

My mother was a resident at New Haven for two years until she passed away. Looking back I would never have placed her anywhere else. Management changed hands while she resided there and it became an impeccable living arrangement for Mom. I am super excited to see how this facility grows with the new Administrator. She is compassionate, loving, caring and patient. She wears many hats in a 24 hour day. I see her take charge personality, extreme knowledge with elderly, dementia and Alzheimers and it is so heart felt. The morale of the staff is extremely noticeable. It is a like home environment and

It is such a home and family atmosphere at New Haven. Mom loves the food. They have an excellent chef in the kitchen. The staff is always good to ask me if I would like to join mother for lunch or supper and I do take them up on this at times. I have to say that the food is delicious! It always smells so good when they are cooking. It's just like being at home.
I must also say it is a big help to have access to a wheelchair accessible van for transportation to doctors appointments for mom. This is something that New Haven has needed for a long time and I am impressed this has been implemented

I would have agreed with many of these comments posted a few months ago. But not now. New Haven has changed so much. They were having problems with quality of food, keeping staff, activities training etc. A huge change has been made over the last few months. Several employees were let go including the administrator due to previous mentioned complaints. My father has lived in the memory care unit for almost a year now and I would not recommend any other place. The new administrator that has been brought in is top notch. She has several years of nursing experience, more knowledge and compassion than

I recently worked their and let's just say...they don't run that place right...residents go without under garment's and wipes all the time... Workers are buying them from their own pocket...and to top it off its been a month since I haven't received my last pay check...I have to many messages on my phone from Laurie the DON that runs that place...I can't see how it hasn't been shut down...

My husband was a resident in the Assisted Living facility from April thru November , 2016. He had previously been there for a short respite care in 2015. When he moved in as a resident, New Haven had just bought the facility. I, too, noticed changes, and similar to the others mentioned. We decided to leave San Angelo to live closer to family and that was the reason we left in November. However, we were due a refund of several hundred dollars which we have not received in spite of several requests. The above review probably explains why. It is really sad to see a once caring facility go down so

I am very pleased with the changes at New Haven (formerly Bee Hive)!
I have been coming here for over 3 years, once a week to visit with and minister to the beautiful residents.
A few months ago, there was a change of administration, which has proven to be a breath of fresh air. She has made much needed staffing changes by adding mature caregivers, increased the number of staff and changed chefs. From what I have observed, she runs a tight ship.
Recently, my mother needed assisted living, specifically for dementia. We have chosen New Haven and are quite pleased! The activities have kept her
