Bauckham, Sparks, Thall, Seeber & Kaufman, P.C. traces its roots back more than 100 years to our founders, Dallas Boudeman, former Kalamazoo County Circuit Judge John W. Adams, and former Probate Judge Samuel H. VanHorn. The firm's current name arose over time, beginning in 1949, when John Bauckham joined Harry F. Smith in the practice of law.
The law firm of Bauckham, Sparks, Thall, Seeber & Kaufman, P.C. can trace its Kalamazoo roots back more than 100 years to founding attorneys Boudeman, Adams, and Van Horn. While the practice of law has changed over the last century, our commitment to integrity, protecting our clients' interests, and providing knowledgeable, client-focused legal advice has not.
Bauckham, Sparks, Thall, Seeber & Kaufman, P.C. has served as legal counsel to the Michigan Townships Association since the association's incorporation in 1953. Over that time Bauckham Sparks has provided counsel to countless municipal officials through its representation of MTA.

Partner Rob Thall has been with Bauckham Sparks since 1991. Rob serves as general or special counsel to many general townships, charter townships, and sewer and water authorities throughout the state. Rob is also lead counsel for the Michigan Townshi. Partner Roxanne Seeber has been with Bauckham Sparks since 1997.
