I’m so pleased with my experience with Tyndall HVAC. I reached out to them after receiving a referral through Angi (formerly Angi’s List) because I was unable to connect my new smart thermostat on my own. I texted their number and received a response very promptly around 5pm on a Sunday. We scheduled a timeframe for them to arrive the next day and they showed up at the earliest hour. The workers were very kind and helpful. They explained how to work my new ecobee thermostat and offered to stay longer to walk me through my phone app for this device once it finished calibrating. From start to finish Tyndall was a pleasure to deal. Peter, the owner, spent 20 minutes on the phone initially to educate me on the options and what to expect IF the were to get the business. A very different experience than the other company bids received who sent an "estimator" (code for a sales person that doesn't know the trade), who would need to confirm with a project manager before the installers arrived. Peter was onsite during the install with his guys. The install was CLEAN (see photos) and the unit is working very well. Tyndall will be my go-to for all future HVAC projects. Thank you

I called to make an appointment for seasonal checkup and was told that I'd get a call back to schedule. Never got a call back to schedule, but had service guys come out unannounced to do their check up. Fortunately, my wife was home to approve and let them do their work. Not sure who dropped the ball in scheduling/call, but it would have been nice to know when they were coming.

Great service handled the problem like a professional. Will recommend service to anyone.

Does good work for a reasonable price. We received multiple estimates but Tyndall's was the most reasonable. They were very professional and left the job site clean.

For customer service on the phone he's super nice, but he really doesn't remember anything about a schedule! I called him for a diagnostic on my ac unit, and he told me to call him back around 7pm since he didn't have his schedule handy he was out on a job. Fine no problem! So I called at 7:15 just in case. Well he was driving which that happens, but from the time of my original call at 4pm and then he had already forgotten the problem we were having. My AC broke down at my house in Antioch on Sunday. They came on Monday and fixed the problem, which was a bit complicated.
They were very nice and professional.

Unlike other ac companies they responded very quick! They even came out the same day, and sent over the invoice shortly after. The were informative and honest and greatly appreciated!

I had my first great experience with Tyndall HVAC in July of 2011. I have continued to use them over the years, most recently on August 27. I own a few apartments in Antioch and there are few companies that are able to take on a project and work with the tenants and complex management to complete the work to everyone's satisfaction. I am a happy, long-term customer and wouldn't go anywhere else for HVAC work in the East Bay.

Updating my review as we have had Tyndall service our AC for a few years after installation and the service has been horrible. The office manager and Pete can't get their schedules in sync. Missed appointments, promises of call backs that never happened and all around frustration, I stopped contacting this company and went with another. You'll find that HVAC guy that has 5 stars and over 300 reviews. Go with that guy.

How can this guy remember what happened 3 years ago specific to my experience?? Chalking it up to sometimes they make mistakes?? Your technician NEVER SHOWED UP and then cursed out my landlord??? Ridiculous

Pete is awesome! Upon our first meeting he inspected my HVAC system, was honest about exactly what needed repair and completed it in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price.

As a Real Estate Broker, I've referred him to several of my client's, and they too rave about him! He actually, extended himself by traveling out of his coverage area to service one of my listing clients!

Tyndall did an excellent job installing a brand new heating and air conditioning unit along with vents from scratch at a rental we own! They are on time and very courteous. Thank you so much for your hard work! My tenant loves her cool house in the summer and her warm house in the winter. :-)
