Under the guidance of Dr. Uriel Mushin, the highly qualified staff of Memorial Vein Center is known for providing state-of-the-art care, clear communication, and individually tailored treatments with optimal results.
When treating varicose veins, one must remember several facts. Treatment is possible because we have two systems of veins: a superficial vein system and a deep venous system. This is important because we have "veins to spare." Getting rid of these blue, ropey varicose veins usually will not affect the circulation.
The most effective well proven procedure, Sclerotherapy employs a tiny needle for the injection of a solution directly into the affected vein. This relatively painless injection causes the vein to close and disappear from view. The number of spider veins injected depends on the size and location of the cluster of spider veins and the patient's overall medical condition.
When our veins start malfunctioning, a series of events start happening. First we see the small "spider veins" then they become larger veins called Varicose Veins. Later on, the skin may change color and become much darker and harder. If left untreated this disease (called Chronic Venous Insufficiency) will progress to form openings in your lower legs and feet, called venous ulcers.
I had the procedure done and am very happy and satisfied with my results. It was not painful and my recovery was very fast. My experience with memorial vein center was amazing! This is not my first surgery here. Doctor Mushin is the most experienced vein specialist I know and I’ve known him for 12 years. He had surgery on my both legs and I couldn’t be happier with the results. His staff is super duper friendly, especially Crystal and Aisha are so sweet and caring! I would give 10 stars if I could.

The nurses and receptionists are amazing, and so friendly. They're really knowledgeable and answer any questions you may have. There's never a long wait to see someone, as is often the case at a medical office. Everything is quick, but very personalized and not rushed. Dr. Mushin is absolutely fantastic. He's very kind, realistic with what can be accomplished, and his work is amazing! I could not be happier with the results of my breast reduction! Thank you so much!

Last summer I had a consultation at MEMORIAL VEIN CENTER with Doctor Uriel Mushin. That day he explained to me the surgical procedure of the removal of my varicose vein and was asked for a deposit down payment to secure my date for surgery.
So the surgery was done and 1st week of my recovery I started feeling numbness as if my blood was not circulating properly. I took the bandage out like the 3rd day and my leg was bruised up and swollen. I noticed that the vein was still there so I called the office and asked for a much sooner follow up due to the pain and numbness I was feeling..... The day

I had the most wonderful experience in Dr. Mushin's office. He and his staff are truly first-rate. I was seen by another Doctor (won't mention his name) that seemed more like a used car salesman. Dr. Mushin on the other hand, is caring, honest, and straight-forward. His office is beautiful and so are my results! I can't believe it, but all my veins in the treated area are gone. I'm so thankful to the Memorial Vein Center.
