Prior to receiving a Masters degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly the Traditional Acupuncture Institute) in Columbia, Maryland in 2000, I was working as a Physician Assistant. I had graduated from Essex Community college with a Physician Assistant Certificate in 1992 and worked primarily in an outpatient setting seeing patients with a wide variety of illnesses.

Currently, I do not bill insurance directly, however I do provide all the information needed in order for you to submit the claim to your insurance company. You provide payment upfront, and I give you a "superbill" with the ICD10 codes and CPT codes needed for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

I went to see Jean a few days after a severe case of tendinitis. She fit me in right away, explained the value of acupuncture, and took me through the process and what I could expect from the treatment schedule. On each visit, I left feeling better than the time before. I could literally see and feel myself improving thanks to Jean! Acupuncture is awesome and so is Jean!

This is my first in-depth, long-term Acupuncture treatment, and Jean Donati is wonderful. I'm excited with our progress and impressed with Jean's passion and skill. She is detailed, really listens and her knowledge extensive. I first went to Jeanie Donati in 1990, I had developed a left neck and shoulder pain that was radiating down my arm into my left hand. Eventually I developed a "Trigger Thumb". I could no longer hold anything in my left hand because my thumb would lose grip without warning.
