Graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly the University of Missouri-Rolla) in 1995 with a B.S. in Geology & Geophysics. Moved to the Little Rock, Arkansas area in 1995 to be a Staff Geologist for Genesis Environmental Consulting (now Terracon). Moved to the St. Louis, Missouri area in 1999 to be a Senior Hydrogeologist for Herst & Associates, Inc.
