Shanghai Red's is a cozy restaurant set right on the harbor of Marina del Rey. The back patio area overlooks the harbor. On this day, there was a slight breeze on a perfect day and sunset occurred while the bride and groom had dinner with all their guests. The sunset was clearly visible through all the windows throughout the intimate room.
The ceremony took place in front of a gazebo which was decorated with flowers. The ceremony area (patio) is separated from the general restaurant guests by different furniture, so the guests will be able to enjoy the ceremony as well. There is no wall between the harbor walkway and the patio, so some people may casually stroll by a wonderful event.

Oda Entertainment provides music and lighting to any event in Orange County and the surrounding areas. The focus goals include getting the job done and having a good time. Oda Entertainment became an official business in 2006 when Oda decided to share his passion with the public.

Jason Oda was the DJ at our very small, front yard covid-era wedding. He was more than we could have hoped for, providing just exactly the right vibe for the intimate wedding we had. He was very easy to work with, listened to our requests and executed them, provided his own suggestions and songs. This guy is a professional at what he does.
He puts his school and his community first before proceeding onto his professional life into music entertainment. He does an absolute great job at swim meets and keeps the kids entertained during a swim meet. I've never seen a swim meet that was so much fun to be at (other than the other swim meets that also play music which is very rare).
I recommend him for professional events as he adapts to your style of music and will work with you to make a successful event.

Jason aka Oda was the DJ for our wedding in July and it was such a pleasure working with him! The company I work for had hired him for several events and I was always impressed with his music selection and his amazing work ethic. I was so excited when he told me he was available for our wedding day. Jason is always the first vendor to arrive and the last vendor to leave. I had Jason DJ My Aunt's 50th Birthday and WOW!!! Super!!! He is Very Professional Has Great Sounding Equiptment!!! My Aunt Loves Rock En Espanol and Jason was right on top of it, he (WHILE MIXING!!!) downloaded a few songs AND was able to connect my Aunt's iPhone to play from her playlist!!!! SUPER SUPER DJ!!! Oda Entertainment did my wedding over the weekend, and I can't say enough about the professionalism and expertise that he can provide for any venue. I used DJ Oda for my wedding this past December, and he's as good as it gets for a DJ. From the first in person meeting to run through at the venue, he was always helpful and accommodating in the music and light recommendations. He has a great variety of music and played everything on the requested list and didn't for those on the do not play list. I would highly recommend his services for your next big event!

We had our wedding in December 2012 with DJ Jason Oda at our reception. We booked Parcel Seafood catering serviced to Anaheim Marriott Hotel and Jason came as a recommended DJ for our reception. It was easy to communicate with him and we mainly did so by email, which was a blessing considering the million other things I had to do for the wedding. I have nothing but good things to say about Jason Oda! We used Oda Entertainment for our wedding in November 2012 and all our guests and family members complimented on the music. Everyone had a great time and the music he played for us was perfect! We wanted to have a list of songs for him to play but we ran out of time and Jason assured that his specialty is to feel the crowd and play the proper music. He played a verity of music that night and he kept everyone dancing on the dance floor! If you want to have a nice, fun and awesome DJ, use Oda Entertainment!

I agree with Diana C. I was at her wedding and the music was off-da-hook! Everyone had an awesome time, including myself. The music was perfect becuase it s a blend of classiness and modern hip-hop rolled into one. Transitioning from one playlist to another was subtle and from what I remember...everyone danced the night away.

Jason Oda was fantastic. He was very accommodating and was very interested in what we wanted, not what he thought was right. Our reception was so much fun and the best part of the night was when Jason started DJing - this was when the actual party started! He is a long time friend of the family and that helped a lot when picking our DJ. Although he knew our family, i'm sure that he will give the same experience to future clients. He comes totally recommended!

DJ Oda made my wedding! Seriously, people are still talking about how much fun they had singing along and dancing to songs at the reception. Jason also did a great job of serving as the MC for the events (bridal party introduction, cake cutting, garter toss, money dance, etc).
