Phyllis was born in Portland, Oregon into an artistic family that fostered the creative process. She graduated with Honors from Bassist College, currently the Art Institute in Portland, receiving her degree w/Honors in Interior Design. Most recently received certificates in Kitchen and Bath Design and Accessibility and Aging in Place.
As a renowned Interior Designer and Space Planner, Phyllis does not have a set style preferring to make her designs distinguishable through her sensitivity to the client's needs, budget, and appropriateness to the setting. After years of creating beautiful and exciting interiors for hospitality clients, she became a Manufacturer's Representative for DuPont CORIAN moving to Salt Lake City, on a Special Assignment.

Our client's home in SW Portland became multi-generational when Mom was invited to move in. The space was very well equipped, all the amenities, even a mudroom, but no kitchen.
