I enjoyed science classes in college, especially those classes relating to the human body. I love working with patients and teaching them how to care for their oral health and how it relates to your overall health. Fun Fact: I fell out of a moving car at the age of four. Seatbelts were optional then, and car seats were virtually unheard of (it's a wonder any of us survived).
Raised in Salt Lake City, UT, Dr. Jonathan Campbell currently lives in Holladay. He is married to Melanie, and together they have five kids (three girls and two boys). His father was a dentist, and they practiced side by side for 13 years. His youngest sister Katie has also followed in her father's footsteps and is a dental hygienist at Legacy Dental.

I have been going to this dentist for well over 10 years. They're the best! They make you feel comfortable and, whatever they're working on, get it done in a timely but effective manner. With my previous dentist, I felt like I was at a car dealership. Always pushing a procedure that needed to be done, which I was fully aware of but financially couldn't afford it.

A kind, caring, comfortable, efficient, trustworthy, skilled and affordable dentist office?! Who knew these existed? Legacy Dental is a real gem and I have referred many friends and family who have also had positive experiences. Due to insurance changes the last 1.5 years, I had to go elsewhere (I tried two different dental offices) and had horrendously cunning and over-the-top (in a bad way) experiences. I was so thrilled to go back to Legacy Dental. Long story short--I very much recommend. Thank you Dr. H and all associates!

Legacy is as excellent! They fit me in on my trip to SLC and fixed a broken tooth.
I ended up with three appointments within a week for the repair and they were able to juggle the calendar and insurance. Dr Campbelll was very professional and informative about options. Sedation dentistry is available and worked well for me. I don’t remember too much about the process but loved the results

I love coming here, all the dental staff are caring and good at what they do, and they make sure you are comfortable, even with the little things like using warm water in the sprayer when doing a cleaning so it doesn't hurt. I am also confident in the fillings they do and they don't overdo it either. If there isn't a reason to drill and fill they won't. Their hours are also amazing.

I love Legacy Dental. I had two fillings done a few years ago by another dentist. It was a terrible experience and made me afraid to go again. Since going to Legacy Dental, I’ve had a root canal and they redid both fillings the last dentist did. Each experience was easy and painless. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and knew what the plan was. I’ll continue to go to them for the foreseeable future.

Only because zero stars isn't an option. They sent me a bill two months after my treatment was finish for double what they charged me. When I called to get clarification I was talked down to, talked over and completely dismissed by the office manager Cori. She refused to take any ownership of miss quoting me to begin with. If you want a criminal dentist that is just out to scam more money then look no further, this is the dentist for you.

Dr. Campbell & his staff are kind, professional, & caring. They take the time to listen to your concerns about your teeth and treatment & then proceed to treat you with the utmost care & sincerity. The office is clean & easy to get to & they make your dental appointment as easy as possible. I have extremely sensitive teeth & they do an incredible job of being gentle & thorough at each cleaning.

It took my fiance a year to schedule the hour-long appointment he just left because he has serious dentist phobia. Legacy Dental was happy to shift from the root canal he anticipated and scheduled (usually a 2 hour ordeal) to a normal exam, but they did not have time for a cleaning.

I am so glad I found Legacy Dental. As a patient with extensive dental trauma, going to the dentist takes all the courage in the world. But, I like having teeth. Legacy offers a low-cost sedation option that worked for me just as well as the expensive IV option I have used in the past. I didn't even remember my visit to get my tooth prepped for a crown, and for me that is good news! They were very patient with my tears of anxiety when they placed the permanent crown. They are also extremely good with my six children. We have no complaints!
