Be aware of these fake five star reviews that John has paid for. John gladly took my $7k deposit and has disappeared without performing any work. Now I am in contact with the BBB and my attorney to get the deposit back. I gave him numerous chances to do the right thing. Horrible person and businessman, will lie straight to your face and give you every excuse of why he can not complete the job.

I strongly recommend that you look at Duval Paving's rating with the Florida Better Business Bureau, they score an F which is a generous grade. There are plenty of Asphalt Pavers listed in the St Augustine area with A+ ratings. After going out of his way to pick up the deposit check it took 4 weeks before I was able to contact John. Had to threaten the BBB before he contacted me and did the work. Workmanship was shoddy, the driveway showed damage after 1.5 weeks. He doesn't honor his 2 year material & labor guarantee. Been 16 weeks and counting since he promised the repair. Still waiting. John

John is a crook. Everything he said to me was a lie. He said they would grade the property and lay 2 inches of Crushcreate before laying the asphalt. They would also take up my sidewalk. None of this was done. I ended up with less than an inch of Asphalt. please DM of this has been done to you. I'd like to start a class action lawsuit that puts these people out of business so they can't continue to rob people of their hard earned money.

Duval Paving just finished sealcoating my driveway and I couldn’t be happier. They sealed the cracks and applied a thick coat of sealer. They did everything they said and there wasn’t any mess. I thought the price was quite fair. They even called the next day to be sure I was happy. Five stars!

Work was done, but with many low spots that John promised to repair as their contract guarantees the work and material for 3 years. Scheduled to come and fix the problems twice and never showed up. I have left at least 20 voicemails and have yet to receive a call back. Very very poor customer service.

How do you give negative stars? This place never answers the main phone and never returns messages. Finally got a cell number to order some millings. Set time and date. That came and went with no call or text to explain. Reset time and date three different times and missed them all with no call or explanation. Evidently a very expensive load of millings is not worth their time. Wouldn't give them the time of day. Terrible customer service and no service at all.
