In 1988 Annette Weyrauch founded Physical Therapy Plus in beautiful Los Alamos, NM. Over the last 26 years the practice has expanded to include offices in Pojoaque and Santa Fe. Physical Therapy Plus approaches therapy with an eye on individuality, creating a treatment plan that will help you not only recover but also get back to all the things that you love to do in life.

Therapy sessions are casual and fun; you will spend the full hour one on one with your therapist. This allows for better communication between therapist and patient, improving treatment outcomes. Varieties of methods are used to identify the underlying cause of the problem being treated, this is important to reduce the risk of re-injury or continued pain.
Services
Providing the best care to our patients is paramount, Physical Therapy Plus only employs masters level Physical Therapists. Therapists are attentive professionals who strive to provide a productive and enjoyable rehabilitation.

Petra recently purchased Physical Therapy Plus from Annette Weyrauch and is hoping to continue the legacy of excellent patient care and a motto of "one patient, one therapist, one hour" as a cornerstone of successful client-therapist relationship.Native of Slovenia, Petra is a 1998 graduate in Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah.
Physical Therapy Plus is happy to bill your commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid on your behalf. We also work with workman's compensation insurance, third party liability cases, and will treat under a lien with coordination from a few select attorneys'. We are contracted with most insurance companies and offer a discounted self-pay rate for those without insurance.

They are really great. I've seen multiple therapists, including Mary and Kelli and the attention and expertise is top notch.

I am so grateful for my physical therapist, Hanju, at Physical Therapy Plus in Los Alamos. She is a mix of professionalism, expertise, compassion, and cheerfulness. Her knowledge of the body and my issue informed what excersises I needed. She is dedicated to the recovery of her patients. I have recovered, because of her!

Following meniscus surgery to my knee I underwent therapy under the care of therapists Petra Pirc and Mary Grow. Petra and Mary are awesome! They found progressively challenging (and creative!) exercises while taking care not to aggravate my knee. Petra and Mary are excellent motivators, providing me with incentive to do my best at performing various prescribed exercises in the office and at home between visits. The demeanor of all therapists and office staff was always courteous and professional. Facilities are kept spotless, and staff members take appropriate COVID precautions. A top-shelf clinic

My son with special needs has been to a LOT of physical therapists but none have worked so well with him as Petra at Physical Therapy Plus. He loves going and he has made so much progress since we started coming. I definitely recommend them for pediatric PT! Thanks guys!

Although the therapist are friendly and knowable, at lest the one i had.
The front desk Admin person seems incompetent.
And don't be late as they will hit you with a $50.00 late fee without a second thought or even a notice before you sign up that this will happen.

The therapy here is adequate although morale seems low. However they make a practice of charging a high copay regardless of what your insurance copay is. Be warned, we spent almost a year of frustrating communication, or lack of it, getting reimbursed when we over payed. We had to send a threatening letter to finally get paid. I expect the issue is disorganization rather than an intent to cheat people, but it's unacceptable.
