Our primary objectives are equipping families with the knowledge and resources to make smart child care decisions, recruiting quality child care providers, and to help communities implement programs and initiatives to build a strong infrastructure of high quality child care and early education programs.

We empower families with the tools and resources that allow them to make the best choice when it comes locating and evaluating quality child care. Child care is one of the fastest growing professions! We are your first step in becoming licensed and providing support in becoming a child care professional.
Services
Our primary objectives are to help families find quality child care, recruit and train child care providers, and to develop unique child care resource and referral programs for employers of working parents. The Child Care Resource Network is the child care resource and referral (CCR&R) for SDA 2 spanning from Lafayette to Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Through this process you will receive guidance about what qualities to look for when selecting a high quality child care program as well as questions to ask when making your decision. Our family engagement team offers weekly workshops about topics related to caring for young children. Do you have a topic you want to see added to our calendar?
Are there any child care financial assistance programs that my family qualifies for? We can tell you who to contact in order to find the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) intake agent in your county.?. Do they attend classes and workshops? Caregivers with degrees and/or special training in working with children will be better able to help your child learn.
When a family calls in need of child care, our team of Family Engagement Specialists work closely with them to describe the different types of care available and help discover what programs are most appropriate for the family's needs. Quality child care can happen in any setting and it is the choice of the parent as to which type of care is the right fit for their children and family.
It is no secret that child care can be expensive! But the money you spend on high quality early childhood programs is an investment into your child's future. There are several ways to help make child care more affordable for Indiana families. Am I eligible to receive financial assistance via the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF)?.

I have called many times during the week and no one picks up. I had a phone interview on 6/11/21 @ 2:45 pm and no one called. I have filled out everything needed for the assistance and they do not reply. Why offer help if you cant even respond.
