This is an older motel but it is well maintained. My room was nice and a good value for the price. The TV should be upgraded though. There was no TV guide menu and not even closed caption. Still, good value if you're just staying a night or two.

The room stay was awesome, but the front desk girl was very rude. We always stay in the handicap room with the shower. We stay at least 3 nights and really enjoy the clean room and the quietness. Plann8ng to go again.

I understand the family that operates this establishment DID NOT raise their rates at all after hurricane Ida came through Louisiana. Many displaced families found shelter there and by not raising their rates even the legal limit shows their good character and humanity.

If you need a nice, simple hotel at a good price this is your spot! Our room had a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean!!
If we are in the area, we’d gladly be back! In conclusion, thanks for being there, and may the odds ever be in your favor!

It was the worst experience I have ever had. The room appeared clean but in reality was dirty and they just tried to make it look nice . The bathroom around the toilet on the floor had dried up pee stains . If you walked barefoot you can feel how dirty the carpet was . I checked in on a Friday night . My card was successfully processed and receipt. The next morning they called my room twice then came to the room trying to get in the room then called the room again to tell us we need to bring a new card because our payment never went through the day prior . It was all so sketchy and made my kids

The first room they put me in the refrigerator was not getting cold and I was staying for three days so this was a necessity for me. The bathtub was peeling paint. They put me in another room the second room as I went in smelt of urine. It was really hot in the room the air was off so I know that it takes time for a room to cool off. After 3 1/2 hours of the air running the temperature in the room was still at 80°. I called the front desk she said she would have someone to come out and look at the AC unit. The guy came out to look at the AC unit and I explain to him that the compressor will run

I highly recommend mockingbird in and suites. Me and my son stayed in a suite last night. It was spacious and clean. The staff are super nice and curious. And it's not over priced either.
