Bombproof Welding LLC is a one man show. My name is Steve Gouak. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania helping my Dad restore old cars and trucks, working on equipment from lawn mowers to tractors, and making anything with a motor go faster. I started out early on as an auto mechanic, then as you may have guessed from the business name spent 15 years in the Marine Corps serving most of my career as Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
While in the military, I went down the trail of off-roading and Jeeps. This is when I really started doing more welding/fabricating than mechanical work. I was honorably discharged, and moved to Texas to marry my beautiful wife, Sarah. Then, I began my professional welding career working on off-road vehicles as a lead welder fabricator at a local off-road shop designing roll cages and suspensions.
