The only way to create great things every day is with great people who truly enjoy their job, so we make sure to only hire the best. Carrie joined our team in 2007. She holds a degree in Biology and found dentistry to be a good fit for her interests and we are SO LUCKY that she did. She has mastered all tasks in our Business and Administration areas and assumed the position of Business Manager in 2010.
Alexandria Pediatric Dentistry was formed in 2008 as a Partnership between Dr. Anna Moreau and her father Dr. Richard Brasher. Dr. Brasher was born and raised in Central Louisiana and began practicing pediatric dentistry in Alexandria in 1972. He proudly introduced our friend and mascot, Bippo the Hippo, to the community in 1978 and Bippo has become a well recognized and loved member of the community.
We really enjoyed our visit to Alexandria Pediatric Dentistry. It was my son's first dental appointment and the drs and assistants were wonderful. They made him feel at ease. I was going to take him him to a regular dentist but found that it was the same cost as taking him to a place that specialized in children.
Pediatric Dentistry is the dental specialty recognized by the American Dental Association which encompasses comprehensive dental care for all children, from infancy through adolescence. A children's dental specialist like Dr. Anna is a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed an additional two years of post doctoral training specific to the pediatric patient.
Getting to know Dr. Anna and our staff will be a fun and enjoyable experience for you, your child, and us. Our goal is to become a dental home that you enjoy coming back to time and time again. Two visits down and a whole childhood to go with Dr. Anna at APD for all three of my kids. Our first visit at APD was when my daughter Jessa Ann turned one, as a first time mommy I had many nerves about the first dentist appointment because not all kids are fond of the dentist. But, once we made it in the office all my nerves were gone both Jessa & I were so comfortable and greatly taken care of. Both the Dr and assistant explain everything that they do, and what’s going on, so you don’t leave not knowing or understand the whys of your child’s visit. Today was our second visit where they did dental work on my 2 boys. I was so nervous. I think more nervous than them. They were awesome. They explained everything they were using and what it would do. They explained it in funny exciting ways to my youngest to make him comfortable he was so calm he even gave a thumbs up while they were working in his mouth. Lol. There's so much good things I experienced with them today I could go on and on. They are so kind and caring, they take time with the patient. To sum it all up. They were excellent. Even the staff was kind and caring. I recommend them to

Wonderful practice! Just moved in the area so we had to find a new dentist for the kiddos. They were able to tame my rambunctious 4 yr old who never had a good visit until this place! Ms. Anna and the staff were an absolute pleasure, great aesthetics but it was the website that really drew me in. Definitely worth the 1 hr drive.
