Services
Perry's Pool Pump was founded in 1982 as 'Mobile Pool Pump' right here in Phoenix. We were located at out 19th Avenue Location for 38 years before moving to our current spot at 2802 W Cactus Rd, right off of the I-17 and Cactus (northwest corner). All of our reconditioned motors are completely stripped down, hi-potted, re-insulated (with class F insulation), and have new KBC bearings installed.
We will accept any amount of cores that you may have, whether it be a single unit or an entire truck load. If you live in another state and have them in bulk please contact us directly to see if we can arrange a pickup. Parts we cannot use are sorted and recycled or scrapped appropriately, almost nothing is thrown away.
There has been a lot of talk and confusion regarding the residential pool pump energy standards being set by each state. The biggest concern and question amongst our customers has been the misconception that you will absolutely have to purchase an expensive and complicated variable speed unit. I have spent an extensive amount of time verifying that we are within the state guidelines.
We strive to make our rebuilt pool and spa pump motors look and run good as new or better. Founded in 1982, we proudly recondition more swimming pool pump motors than any other shop in Arizona! Why? Consistency. All of the motors are completely stripped down, hi-potted, re-insulated, new bearings installed, thoroughly tested, and finished with a fresh coat of paint with accurate labeling to finish off our masterpiece.
Variable speed motors are a high efficiency alternative to the traditional single speed pool pump motor, and they bolt right up to your existing pump! These ultra quiet variable speed setups allow for fine tuning to get just the right flow rate for your systems specific needs. If you have any questions we are just a phone call away.

Took my pool pump in for service because it was not creating enough vacuum. Called them prior and they said just bring in where the impeller splits back to the motor and we will take a look. Brought it in, said everything was fine. Had to then go home and bring back the whole thing. They told me impeller was good so replaced a couple gaskets and sent me on my way. Brought it back for a third time and told me impeller had a crack in it and filter basket o ring was shot. Got it home and they gave me the wrong sized o ring. Terrible from start to finish. Told someone at the front desk about my frustration

I purchased a backwash handle for my pool 2 to 3 months ago. I went with an offbrand part to save some money. It turns out that parts failed and the handle was not usable. Half of it was stuck in the pool return pipes and it took about a month for me to be able to get a pool guy out to remove the part. I brought the two parts back to the store hoping that I would get a discount on a replacement for a Hayward backwash handle. I explained the situation to the gentleman working and showed him photos I took on the day the parts filled. He went back to the shelf and grabbed the Hayward handle and handed

Highly recommend Perry's! After being quoted $1475 to replace our pool motor we found the other reviews on Google and decided to give Perry's a try. My husband took a video of our system and what was happening, a water leak in the pump housing. Carl knew exactly what was wrong and had the part we needed in stock for under $100. We also came prepared to purchase another part for the filter. Carl offered an inexpensive solution rather than upsell us to replace the entire part. These guys know their stuff inside and out. Very quick to offer solutions. Love the integrity!

I’m new to the area, my pool pump failed. The first place I called said “no those can’t be fixed, a new one is $1,200 plus installation”. I pushed back a little and they said well if anyone can fix it Perry’s can. Unscrewed 2 PVC connectors and the power/ground wires, took it to Perry’s. They tested it, said you need a new drive, $695. Fixed it in 1 hour. Took it home and it worked perfectly. Also picked up a new vacuum. Great service, people and inventory.

As far as pool stuff goes, I'm a below average Joe who knows just enough to possibly get myself into trouble. Our above ground pool pump burned out just in time for the Memorial Day weekend. After frantically touching base with a few pool pump/repair businesses and getting a pompous attitude that portrayed "above ground pool" owners aren't worth having as customers, a friend of mine recommended Perry's Pool Pump and WOW I am SO glad he did. I was assisted by a knowledgeable and caring individual who truly portrayed that he was more concerned with fixing my issue than making a sale. After having

Caring fast pool care experts. Came in with a heavy pool pump outside the door is a cart. I wheeled it in was directed to the service department. They took it apart cleaned it and new gaskets was well worth it. A home warranty place that I had come out to the house said it was broke took it to Perry's saved $ 900.00. Wasn't broke. They fix , rebuild quaility motors with warranties. They are my go to place for anything pool related. A+

Came home from a weeks vacation to find our pool pump motor not working. We went to Perry's on a friend's recommendation. Place was full of activity on a late Saturday morning.
The workers at Perry's are knowledgeable and quick. They diagnosed our motor shot along with the impeller. It literally took them 15 minutes to take the motor out of the housing install a new 1hp motor and new impeller.
The best part was it was less than $200.
We will definitely use and recommend Perry's it was a total positive for us.

I took my motor in for new berings. it was running but made a terrible noise. ok was charged the 60.00 and out the door I went. But Alas. when I got home I noticed my motor had been swapped out. It was a totally different motor. I had marked the inside of the capacitor cover. Of course the answer was ''oh the old one must have been dented''. Sure it was!
the amperage was supposed to be 8.8 @ 220. This one amped out at 6. hmmmm. 35 years of building very large skyscrapers where we did not substitute used items. They will fail. As this one did weeks after I installed it. Of

My six year old Hayward Variable speed pump died. I researched online, called three pool stores. The consensus was, " yeah thats pretty good for that pump they dont last long, buy a new one" Called Perry's they said bring it in. They bench tested while I waited, they knew every detail about that pump, even the firmware revision on the pump controller. They tested it electronically and gave me a no BS answer. In two days I had my motor rebuilt, a new pump seal for just $160, versus 900-1200 for a new pump. And, they re-painted the pump! Yes its a little sketchy location

Have been in a couple of times; can't say enough good about the people on both sides of the counter. You might be waiting in line and the grizzled pool pro next to you will help you out with your problem before you even get to the counter.
Guaran-damm-teed you'll get the best expertise possible once you get to the front though. The place looks chaotic, but I've gotten great advice and just what I was looking for every time I've needed to visit. Pump repair, motor rebuilds, plastics and just plain good advice, this place is full of win.
