This rubber tire style ATV rig is fully equipped. It has both an auto-hammer and a cat-head, being able to tackle most down hole situations. With a lesser foot print of our Morooka/CME-75, it can go where our service trucks cannot. It is equipped with a 25' telescoping boom crane and a hydraulic dump bed.
We have successfully probed and sampled to depths of 140-feet. Accessing areas having soft surface conditions is also rarely a problem with the track-mounted probe rig. Our 6620-DT, 7822-DT and 8040-DT also have augering capabilities. With a quick change-over, we can drill with hollow-stem augers and install 2-inch, 4-inch or 6-inch monitoring wells.
This new service is known as VACUUM EXCAVATION and is commonly called "potholing" or "Air Knife" to locate underground utilities or to vacuum excavate a hole down to approximately 12 feet deep prior to drilling or geoprobing. This is generally used (and needed) in areas having several underground utilities that can be difficult to precisely locate.
In the early 1970s, Lyle became the Father-in-Law of Charley Roberts and introduced him to the drilling business. After 26 years, Charley and Brenda Roberts stepped down and are enjoying retirement in Florida. Brandy Roberts-Dodel (P), Sean Dodel (CEO) and Travis Roberts (VP), whom have been running the day to day since 2015, officially became the new owners.
