As a professional photographer serving the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo areas, I want to help you preserve these moments and help you tell your story- from newborns, family photography and senior portraits to wedding photography. You are about to accomplish one of life's biggest milestones- you are graduating from high school! This is such an epic time in your life. You are about to walk into to adulthood, maybe move away from home, and take your first steps into your future. My style is fashion-forward and modern, yet timeless.
I've been shooting weddings for about 10 years now. Each wedding is a new and exciting event for me! I strive to capture the details and fleeting emotions of your day, as well as to create more contemporary, posed images. I capture your event as the day unfolds, in an editorial manner; telling the story of your day.
Photography captures a single moment in time and newborn babies are so little for so few moments! After nine long months of holding a precious life inside you, the moment that gift is brought into the world- the tiny fingers and toes, peely skin and baby yawns- begins the biggest adventure and most fierce love you will ever feel.
Her "mini sessions" are a fun alternative to traditional family sessions as they are quick (great for little kids!) and styled beautifully to match the season. Laura makes my entire family feel comfortable in a matter of minutes and somehow manages to capture sweet emotional moments I didn't even realize were happening.

Laura has taken our family photos for many years. She can capture the personality of my kids and keep them smiling and happy at the session! She is professional and kind and can get the job done quickly and efficiently, while capturing amazing photos! I also love that she doesn’t over-edit photos like many photographers out there. Laura was great to work with! We did our maternity portion of the newborn/maternity package with her. It was a hot, humid night and the mayflies were descending but you wouldn't know it looking at the photos. The quality and tone of the shoot was great and we got to end the session with a dip in the lake that made this 8 month pregnant lady so happy. Can't wait to have her back to capture our new babe soon enough.
