It all started in 1947 in a small retail shop in Lincoln, Nebraska. That's where Walter Kryger began what would be a long, incredible journey to make Kryger Glass what it is today: A family-owned business that provides the best in glass services.
Fast forward four years, when Walter and Nana's son, Bill Kryger, Sr. (lovingly known as Boppi), graduated from college in Atchison, KS and moved back to Lincoln to help his mom and sister run the business.Shortly after, Kryger Glass was ready for an expansion. By the mid-60s, the three of them opened a branch in Omaha, Nebraska - which Nancy managed.

You can send us your contact information or tell us when you would like to schedule service and we will contact you. In most cases, you should be able to safely drive your vehicle two to two and a half hours from start to finish. Kryger Glass will print your exact safe drive away time on your receipt.
Do you offer mobile service? Yes. Kryger will come to you to replace any auto glass, including windows, windshields, side mirrors and rearview mirrors. What certifications do your technicians have? All of our techs are certified by our adhesive manufacturer, which is expected for a high-quality auto glass installation company.
Kryger Glass ensures the automotive glass installed and the workmanship performed is free from defects for as long as you own your vehicle. Please keep in mind Kryger Glass is not liable for any uncontrollable breakage of additional parts during the installation process, which may include but is not limited to radio antennas, moldings, mirrors, door panels, cowls, paint pulls, etc.

Had a crack in the windshield that was too long to qualify for a free replacement covered by insurance. Got a referral for these guys and they were half the price of Safelite and a hell of a lot more personable too.
I was able to get in right away and the job was done in under the two hours they quoted me. Could not have asked for a better experience, and would absolutely go there again.
I also got a free donut.

So, I am not much of a complainer, and generally have patience with most things, but this company is ridiculous. Measurements I gave to them for a replacement piece of glass on my coffee table were 38 1/2" x 15 9/16". They called me when they got it in, I brought it home and it didn't fit. Okay, so I measure the glass to make sure I wasn't wrong on my end. Sure enough the glass measures 38 5/8" x 15 9/16". I brought it down to see if they could shave a little off. Of course, the glass it too small to do this to. I tell them the glass was bigger than what I asked for. They call me back after measuring

The first time I went to Kryger Glass to get a small chip repaired they made the small chip into a 6 inch crack. So instead of a chip repair they gave me a story about how 95% of the time they can repair a chip but there is the rare occasion where it ends up spreading into a crack. Of course they tried to sell me a new windshield too. Ok, my bad luck...it happens.
Fast forward a year or so and I go back for another chip repair. The exact same thing happens and I end up with a 6 inch crack from a pebble size chip. Once again they give me the same story about how 95% of the time this doesn
