When Sheena is not in the office, she enjoys family time with her husband and 2 children. She is also a great cook and loves to volunteer at her children's school. Regular dental cleanings and check-up are important in maintaining good dental health. Teeth cleaning removes the buildup of plaque and calculus (a stone like substance that attaches to your teeth). The plaque and calculus contain bacteria which can lead to gum disease and other health issues if too much accumulates.
If bacteria invades below your gumline, you'll need a deep dental cleaning to restore your gums to health. There aren't a lot of noticeable warning signs; there are signs that are usually overlooked. For example, bleeding on brushing. So what exactly is gum disease? Having a great smile isn't just about healthy sparkling teeth, you also need healthy gums!
I brush and I floss and still I have a cavity, how? Whereas brushing and flossing are the best ways to protect your teeth, we still have those rough areas on the tops of our back teeth (our molars) that have nooks and crannies that harbor extra food and bacteria! So thankful I have found Dr G! He's very kind-hearted, attentive, and excellent at what he does. Such a relief to have found a dentist that actually cares about his patients and their comfort.
On top of that, Sheena (office/assistant) is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Quick with scheduling/paperwork and very knowledgeable. She really makes this office shine. Plus, you will never have to explain your story to anyone when you call!

Dr. Gelfand Is knowledgeable, funny and caring. He always gives you choices on how to go about different treatments and will always give you his best honest opinion on what’s best for you. I have not been to the dentist in over 20 years because in the past I had dentists work on My teeth they did not do a good job so I lost trust. However when I went to this dentist office I met Bryan and Sheena. They are a perfectly matched team and very knowledgeable. Sheena is very confident as she assists Bryan on his work. Bryan is very skill-full with his dental tools which is a plus because he caused minimal pain. They are great to talk to and interact with and they make the whole process calming. They fixed eight cavities and it was almost painless procedure and you can’t even tell my teeth

Not really a fan of the dentist, Someone at my old job recommended Dr. Gelfand and said I would feel so comfortable and love him. She was right! Love at first sight, I even changed my kids dentist and bring them here too. Sheena and the doc are the dream team! Comfort family dental lives up to its name. Nothing but love and laughter here.

Coming to Comfort Family Dental has been a really big change for me and my family. We are not scare, or nervous, we are put at ease the minute we walk through the door.
You walk in, your teeth all chipped up, missing teeth etc, and you walk out looking like a million dollars. Dr. Gelfand and Sheena (Jennifer), worked their magic. I love you guys.

I'll be honest...I hate going to the dentist and usually avoid it as much as possible. However, after my recent appointment with Comfort Family Dental I am much more at ease with the overall process. The Dr and staff were very professional and made everything stress free. Now instead of dreading my next dental visit I am actually looking forward it. I 100%recommend!

Coming from someone who hates the dentist, this place was awesome! So warm and welcoming right from when you walk in. The dentist and dental assistant are so nice and personable. My dental cleaning was done as gentle as possible, and didn't leave me in any pain afterward. So happy to have found this place!
