Jennifer had creative ambitions from an early age when she worked at her grandmother's potter's wheel and enjoyed painting pottery. She envisioned creating beautiful spaces and at 18 enrolled in Harrington College of Design in Chicago where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in interior design.
The Kohler Corporation employed Jennifer to design bathrooms and interiors right after her graduation. After 12 years she decided to form her own design firm, Jennifer Lynn Interior Design. It was such a pleasure working with Jennifer to redesign our two bathrooms. After an extensive interview, Jen presented two plans for me to choose from for each of the bathrooms. She absolutely nailed it…each look was more beautiful than the next. Never used a designer before this...so glad I did, and more so that it was Jennifer, and I very highly recommend her services. She helped with a major master bathroom renovation/redesign and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. She (and her team) are extremely talented and were amazing to work with from the initial consultation all the way through to the end. I worked with Jennifer on a complete renovation. She was organized, efficient and creative. There were some structural challenges in my home that I thought would make an open floor plan difficult but Jennifer was able to make it possible. I personally wanted help getting out of my “everything must be white” design rut, but I was scared to take chances. I quickly learned to trust her and as a result, I have a home that feels like me. Working with Jennifer was a wonderful and enjoyable process.
