Richard (Ric) Stott obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, from Dowling College in 1973. After graduation, he moved to California where he found his way into the building trades. With a construction background as a carpenter and contractor, he attended architecture school.
After receiving a Master of Architecture Degree, with Honors, from California Polytechnic State University in 1983, he moved back to the East Coast where he established his own firm in 1988.In 1996 Mr. Stott consolidated efforts and joined forces with Henry M. Flynn Architect in Southampton. Together they completed commercial, institutional and residential projects in New York and Maine.
