Geff has answered his calling to pursue a career in film and advertising ever since he said his first word, ACTION! Jason spent the last decade working on blockbuster motion pictures like Fast & Furious, The Avengers and Black Panther. Now relocated to Portland with his family, he's honored to bring the excitement of Hollywood filmmaking to the GMS Media Friends and Family.
GMS Media and Advertising is a group of eccentric content creators with a unique assortment of backgrounds and skillsets. We produce video content at a high level and we have fun doing it. We take the time to understand your brand with one goal in mind: to take you to the next level. We were founded on the idea that video production and advertising is not a job, but a lifestyle.
AB Skincare was developed to provide the simplest and most successful approach to skin care with the best results in terms of minimizing sun damage, wrinkles and skin breakouts. GMS Media and Advertising's job was to target the marketing campaign to the demographic that used the product the most. Creating the content was only half the journey.
In our second year of shooting the Providence Heart Institute Black and White Ball we needed to cover more ground and tell a bigger story. A full film crew spread out across the soccer pitch with interviews of donors, arrivals, exits, and the big auction. Pre-Production planning, a full run-of-show, and an action plan to collect as much great footage as possible.
Storytelling at its finest. Dr. Akiko Hashimoto's book already translated into multiple languages, was bound for mainland China but they needed a promotional video to market the book to that new audience. That's where we stepped in with a evocative and personal story of discovery and scholarship.

I cannot express how much gratitude and respect I have for the staff here at GMS. GMS did an amazing job showcasing our group, Portland Cello Project, in a safe and socially distanced live stream concert last weekend. Even with 9’ of spacing between each musician (5 cellos,trumpet,piano,bass,drums,and two singers) and a large crew of GMS team members, they captured and broadcast us with an intimacy that made it all seem cozy and warm. Their direction was clear and unobtrusive, which allowed us to feel completely natural throughout the performance.

GMS Media and Advertising is currently using my business name and intellectual property for unauthorized advertising purposes. I own a live jazz venue and streamed a live show to GMS' Facebook. After which GMS immediately added advertisements and kept the content on their Facebook page. I nor the hired Musicians by my club gave permission for ownership of content, advertising or use of my business name for future use.

Geff and GMS have been a genuine pleasure to work with. I love the videos and it has been fun getting there. Now, understand that I've worked with a handful of video/photographers over the years and the images might look ok, and it can be painful getting the shots. They don't do their market research. The shots are composed off the cuff (no forethought). Stress. Hurry up and wait, always back end issues, poor communication...blah, blah blah. NOT with Geff at GMS. I really had fun working with him. We started off with a meeting/proposal and he had really done his research (HUGE plus). Understand

I hired GMS Media for a shoot and they were amazing! The still photography and videos are top notch. We've used a few of their images for large trade show banners and one of the images is the key photo in our new catalog, which is testament to how great they are.
