Toledo's own Bakery Unlimited was established in 1989, by owner Scott Nugent, the third generation of bakers in his family. At age 6, he was washing pans and bowls, and by the age of 13, he was decorating wedding cakes, passing on the baking lessons and family recipes his legendary father, Dave Nugent, had taught him.
We offer over 36 varieties of donuts made fresh everyday. Nothing says good morning world more than a piping hot donut from Bakery Unlimited in Toledo. From the traditional glazed donuts to nut cover donuts we've got you covered or maybe you should try to wrap your hands around one of our famous bear claws.
Very few things are as wonderful as having that first slice of bread while it is still warm from the oven. We bake 4 kinds of breads daily that are sure to make any sandwich fantastic or addition to a meal. Our breads are baked from scratch and will leave you wondering why you would ever eat anything else.

The Kronut has been a recent baking phenomenon, invented in 2013 and sweeping across the nation. By combining the buttery flaky texture of a croissant with the decadent fried exterior of a doughnut, pastry chefs across America have created what New York magazine's food blog has called "The Must Try Breakfast of the Decade."

Discovered by mistake, but happy to have stumbled across this bakery several years ago. Good selection and all that I have purchased have been tasty goodness! I especially like their custard filled donut - unlike many others, this bakery does not slather the icing on top as I am not a huge fan of icing. A bit pricey but most all prices have gone up - thank you covid.

This is my favorite bakery in town. I've yet to have anything bad from here. Outstanding donuts, delicious kronuts and pastries, and amazing everything else. Also they have the best donut cakes in town. Donut cakes are a family tradition for birthdays and we have tried all of the local spots, Bakery Unlimited ranks the best.

Sunday mid-morning... donuts were already dry and stale tasting. The cream filled ones had no more than a pencil's width of cream which was really disappointing since the whole point of going there was for fresh cream filled donuts. Chocolate with chocolate frosting was terribly dry. Coffee tasted watered down. Not impressed at all :(

Love, love, love their decorated cookies!
Their nut rolls,breads and cakes are exceptional, too. Everything is made and baked right on the premises. They have a good assortment of doughnuts, too, but we love the other baked goods so much that we rarely get around to buying the doughnuts. Their seasonal items, for Christmas, Easter, etc. are delicious. Their pies are great. We recommend their birthday cakes.
It's small, but well known in the north side of Toledo. It's been around for years and the quality has always been there. The owner started out cutting

Bakery Unlimited @ 4427 Secor Rd. Toledo Ohio dropped the ball with our family.
Fundraiser for our granddaughter on Sunday. Ordered 10 dozen cookies (week in advance pre-paid). My daughter came to pick them up and was treated horribly by the employees.

We got donuts to celebrate national donut day. In general bakeries are depressing for my one son because of his dairy allergy. We were shocked to find that Bakery Unlimited offers VEGAN DONUTS!!! My son was so incredibly excited!! Thank you for this! We finally have a place to go for donuts for our whole family. Yay!!!

We ordered a Minnie Mouse birthday cake for my daughter's 1st birthday party. I sent in a picture of the cake I wanted but told them they could do whatever. The cake was better than I expected and the writing on the cake was even done in the Disney font. We ordered chocolate with peanut butter filling and it was delicious! All our guests raved about the design and taste. We will definitely be ordered our cakes here from now on.

My review is based on buying items prepared by Bakery Unlimited at the Dragon's Roost, a new coffee shop and game store on Sylvania Ave & McCord. This shop sells a bunch of their items.
I tried the "bear claw" and it was delish so I bought one for $2.00. It is not what you normally think of a bear claw. It is not a giant pastry but instead a long thin pastry (very flat) and could reasonably be a bear's claw (just one claw on its paw) with white frosting. It's really good!!
Also, the recipe comes from an old Toledo bakery that closed 15 years ago (the coffee shop

Whole experience was ruined due to the terrible customer service. FYI Bakery Unlimited, when you charge the prices you do, you might want to invest in better employees.
Now going to the Kronut. It tasted like a layered, over sweetened donut. Was heavy and way too sweet. And it's for $2.49.
Their employees.... Just lovely. Those smiles, that welcoming hello, their friendliness. Yes... I am being sarcastic. Totally unwelcoming and borderline rude. Wow.
Anywho, the donuts (flavor, freshness and pricing) are not worth putting up with their service.
I'd go somewhere else.
