We purchased two ventless gas fireplaces from Rich. He is knowledgeable and helpful and goes way beyond just selling us a unit. We recommended him to a friend right before Sandy and thankfully they installed a unit and were able to stay in their home. We call/stop by any time we have a question, concern (or for annual instructions on how to work my remote once the weather gets cold) and he is great.

To be honest, I'm suprised by the other negative reviews of L&R. I dealt with Richie on the purchase of two gas fireplaces for a recent renovation. I found him to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us. For items which he didn't have in stock, he was able to order and have them in short order. I would have no problem recommending L&R to others.
