Family mediation is a problem-solving process that gives individuals and family members the opportunity to reach amicable legal settlements. Mediation is a swift, cost-effective alternative that lets families settle probate matters in a collaborative setting where personal issues as well as legal issues can be dealt with.
Taking cases to court is expensive and time-consuming, and it often leads to unsatisfactory results. I am Darcia Tudor and I founded Eastside Mediation & Arbitration in 1995 to provide ways for litigants to resolve their disputes in a constructive, less expensive way that leads to fair compromises and more productive outcomes.

Darcia could not have been more knowledgable and professional. Her background as an attorney and with her Masters degree in counseling really helped. Her knowledge of the law was beneficial when that was needed, and when the negotiations between my husband and I were strained, or slightly contentious, she handled things perfectly.

Darcia Tudor was excellent in helping me navigate my Family Court situation. She helped me understand all of the legal procedures that were required. This was the best advise and direction that I have received from a legal professional ever. Darcia Tudor challenged me to change some of my beliefs about my situation and confirmed my thoughts, family values, and opinions in many other times in my professional interaction with her. I was very pleased with her professional caring and legal and counseling expertise in what she brings to her clients.

Darcia embodies everything I imagined in a mediator and more. Darcia accompanied me through the divorce process with so much knowledge, guidance, fairness and warmth. She always highlighted the benefits and the risks by asking the right questions and made me feel so confident in her ushering me and my ex husband through the process together. Darcia is a hidden gem and I am blessed to have found her. Thank you for everything you have done for us Darcia - I am truly and eternally grateful.

Darcia helped my father tremendously recently with an insurance claim for extended care payments. Her compassion and patience with my father during this time with hardship with my mother's condition was amazing. Her explanation of her actions to my dad were very clear and her handling of issues with insurance company were always timely and effective.

Her knowledge of the law was beneficial when that was needed, and when the negotiations between my husband and I were strained, or slightly contentious, she handled things perfectly. I was not fully aware of what I was entitled to after 25 years of marriage, and Darcia led us through the financial part of divorce in a way that both parties understood, backed up by facts and WA State law. I am very thankful that it was Darcia that handled our mediation

Darcia is a wonderful and caring professional. She truly helped our family navigate through such a difficult time in our life. She dealt with our unfortunate situation with compassion and logic. I owe the current peace and happiness of my family to her generous heart, and hardworking nature. I would recommend Darcia to anyone going through a hard time, and looking for help. Our family has made it to the other side now with her help, and I hope other families in our situation are lucky enough to find the same relief.

Don't waist your time. She is lazy, self absorbed, and a bully. Biggest waist of money. Created more problems then she resolved. I can't imagine how much money was spent for her to tell me the she is a lawyer. When I started counting it was at least 5 times. She over talked and interrupted several times just to tell me she was a lawyer I have talked with several other mediators since and was told my experience new was poorly managed. Your best bet would to walk right by her office and throw your money in the lake. You will have a more productive outcome.

We used Darcia Tudor as a Parent Evaluator for our Family Court case. We found her extremely bias and unfair
Although she was hired as a PE (Parent Evaluator), but acted in the capacity of GAL (Guardian Ad Litem) without proper appointment. By self promoting herself she acted without the proper authority on numerous occasions.
As a PE or a GAL a home visit is one of the basic tenants of the position. Ms. Tudor never came to our home for the proper visit with my children. She actually canceled 4 appointments to come to our home and visit with the children and us.
