Friendly and straight forward service. It was the only bike shop in the area that had my bicycle size in stock. Other shops told me it would be a several month wait to get something. Not only did I find a bike here, it’s a gorgeous color and they added upgrades which helps it ride more beautifully. I am thankful to have found these guys and that they’re close by. Support these folks; highly recommend!

West End is the best! I bought a Specialized Como from another dealer and took it to West End when the battery started failing after I had it for a short year and a half. West End went back and forth with Specialized for close to three weeks and finally convinced Specialized to replace the very expensive battery at no cost for me. It would have been easy for West End to throw in the towel and tell me that Specialized turned me down, but the great staff at West End saw it through. I'm obviously beyond grateful. West End will get my business from here on out. Thanks for your help, West End.

I went to 4 shops in the area looking for parts for my 32 year old, childhood bike I am gifting to a neighbors child. The first three told me the parts are obsolete and tried selling me a new bike. Then I walked into West End Bicycles. I was greeted immediately by an compassionate and knowledgeable young lady that, along with her colleagues, worked diligently until a solution was found. This is a well-oiled operation with a 5 Star Staff. Thank You!

Very skilled and experienced mechanics who won't do work that is not needed and who won't upsell you. It is not unusual for them to also have the work done a bit faster than their initial estimate. The last time I was there they had an excellent selection of mountain bikes, the road bike selection was pretty thin but lots of bike shops are experiencing shortages. In general this is one of my favorite bicycle shops in Houston. I bought my Specialized Tarmac there and I have never regretted it.

I've bought two bikes from West End and come in for tune ups, other supplies, etc. They are very knowledgeable... with great knowledge comes high prices and sometimes a long wait for repairs. I don't mind so much, though.. Despite the prices, this is still the only bike shop where I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Amazing service. I got Butch as my salesperson, told him that I didn't know wheels from pedals when it came to bikes. He was patient, explained exactly what I needed. Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed, and I did not make a purchase.

He took the time to write down the size of bike I needed, all the different gear sets and put them in order from good to bad.

Rare to find great service like this!

I've been to a few bicycle shops in Houston and West End Bicycles is by far my favorite. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and listens to your needs; they give you the options for your needs and budget and don't try to oversell, while making sure you know all the options available. This place is my go-to for all my cycling needs.

I came back today for my rear rack! We finally figured out a good solution for my bike business. Thanks so much to Butch and Jay for being so patient and helpful. I will continue to recommend West End Bicycles. They do great work and have so much in the store to help you have a more enjoyable bike experience!

First road bike! Daniel (shop owner) was so helpful and nice during the whole process. The shop has been there for 35+ years so the staff have a wealth of knowledge for new and experienced riders. Haven’t experienced such great customer service in such a long time. Can’t wait to start riding. Totally recommend this shop!

West end is like Cheers but for bikes! If you walk in more than a couple of times they will know your name and always appreciate your being there. Their mechanics are very, very competent and service is excellent. What else!?

In 2012 I walked into this place to buy a new bike and was a little nervous at first because it looks like one of those neighborhood bike shops where the staff is going to treat you like some lesser than. But, it's nothing like that. When I walked in, the staff treated me like family. they listened to my concerns and gave me amazing recommendations.

Full disclosure. I some how saved this review without finishing it a long time ago. Since then, I've become an avid cyclist. This bike shop is legit. Please consider them, you won't be disappointed.

No cannondale? Thumbs down. How do you not have one of the best brands out there? Was about to spend $5,000 on a new bike too.

These folks have done minor bike repairs for me over the past few years. The are professional and their fees seem reasonable. I would use them without hesitation.

Came here because of the good reviews, changed two inner tubes in September for $47 total. less than one month and only 90 miles later, got a flat tire, I won't come back.

I had a bad experience at this shop , I've done business there many times. The individual I asked for a part got an additude and didn't even direct me to the part. I still got what I was looking a coworker was helpful this other guy I guess he was a mechanic was having a bad day or I was not the right hue, but like I expressed to t he individual that got me what I was looking for the West End was one the few bike shops that had the gear I needed. I told him I would have
gone to Boones but Boones was out of business.

My wife and I came to this shop looking for a road bike with very little knowledge. We were looking for help and guidance and got exactly that. Kevin, the person that helped us, was extremely thorough and walked us through every step of the process like sizing, type of bike, etc. He was incredibly nice. It was also obvious he wasn't trying to pressure us to buy anything in particular and we felt really at ease and could trust his expertise. Butch and Trendon are great to work with. The click and collect system is what I used. They a lot of accessories.

They fixed my son's Walmart bike brake issue and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Price was great! They were super busy but know now it's bc they are good so treat them nicely!

These guys are just awesome. My wife and I were visiting to see the medical professionals at MD Anderson regarding her cancer diagnosis, and the airline broke the brake on her medical scooter during transit.

These guys helped me out so fast in getting a new brake put on, and even helped me put on some flashy new handles for her! Sweet!

I’ve been to other bike shops and was treated like they where above giving me customer service, but when I first walked into West End Bicycles, I was treated with first class costumer service right off the bat. My first encounter was with Butch who greeted me and asked what I was interested in. He walked me around and showed me the options. To tell you the true, I fell in love with the Specialized Roll as soon as I saw it next to the front entrance; it had everything I was looking for. Butch asked me to test ride it and even took it apart to see if it would fit in my car since I don’t like
