Robinson & Parker
I wanted to send you a note to say "thank you" for all the years that I have been able to provide you, your family and friends with eye care. In December, I decided that it was time to retire from Optometry and it has taken me a while to find the words to let you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you.

You are so much more than patients. You are my friends and "family". I have shared so many moments with you over my 37 years in practice. Staff used to laugh that I should call the practice More than Eyes Optometry because I celebrated births, weddings, new jobs and cried with you over losses and illness.
Services
Our office has a uniquely appointed optical with licensed opticians to help you find the best solution for your personal needs. We also have a licensed contact lens optician to fit even the hardest patients with specialty contacts. If you have a true ocular emergency after hours please call 804-595-2020 and follow the prompts to contact a doctor.
Our comprehensive eye exams consist of a multi-step process that covers eye health as well as vision correction. Please note: a comprehensive eye exam does not include contact lens work or prescription. If you currently wear, or would like to consider wearing contact lenses, please let us know when making your appointment.
Contact lens services are only provided during or after a comprehensive eye examination. If you require contact lens services, please notify the staff at the time you make your appointment. These services are not part of a routine eye exam and there are additional fees associated depending on the complexity of your contact lenses and corneal health.
80+% of what we learn is through our vision and as such, it is extremely important for all children to have a comprehensive eye exam that includes dilation before they start kindergarten and every year thereafter until adulthood. If your child is having difficulty reading or is underperforming in school, it may be that his or her eyes are uncomfortable performing these tasks due to blurry vision, double vision, or losing their place on the page.
Dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults. With each blink of the eyelids, tears spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea.

Everyone in this Office is so pleasant! I’m always greeted with a warm smile and great conversation from the receptionists. Dr Megan Parker has always been so nice and fun to talk with. I didn’t get the name of the ladies who did my tests and set me up with glasses but they were very professional and patient. Had an overall great experience.

The prescription I received was not even mine. I paid $175 for glasses I never could use. Do not recommend!

The doctors and associates are professional while making the patient feel like family. Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming. The doctors show the results of testing and explain the results. They are very thorough and answer questions. The appointment is never rushed.

As a new patient, when I arrived I was asked to fill out some paperwork; there was a two page contract to read and sign as well as four pages of health information to complete. When I was about halfway through the paperwork, I was told that it was past my appointment time and the doctor couldn't see me, so I would need to reschedule. The receptionist was just following the orders she was given and she profusely apologized because I think she knew that what she was told to tell me was unprofessional. I politely handed her the incomplete paperwork, said, "No, thank you," and left

Open your eyes and choose Robinson and Parker! From the moment, I entered they were professional and friendly. I happened to over hear the front desk staff explaining to customers that the doctors are specialists as well, if medical needs come up. Good to know. It was quite the smooth operation. My family followed with their exams and were just as satisfied. What is clear now, in addition to my vision, is that Robinson and Parker are optimal optometrists!

My first visit. Very impressive. Personal. On time. Saw at least 4 different specialists including Parker and they were all proficient and friendly. I was just there to get a quick exam and some more contacts but they were very thorough and I learned several things about my eyes and got a great perscription. Absolutely loved my new eye doctor and his office staff.
